Can anyone please recommend a good dermatologist? I would prefer someone in Coppell, Lewisville, Carrollton, Plano area...but am willing to travel some for a good doctor. I am facing some extremely dry patches on my face and scalp. Also, I am considering laser hair removal.

We used Dr Sara Chapman when my son was in high school and she was very good. I liked her patient manner. She was at the office on charles place off of preston rd. I won a $300 certificate for laser hair removel. I had my upper lip and underarms done. I saw awesome results after just one treatment!!! I had this done a American Laser Center on Preston rd just south of Tennyson rd

A., my dermatologist is Dr. Jerald Sklar. He has an office in Irving close to MacArthur and 114, and he has another office at Royal and Preston RD. I've seen him for a couple of years and two years ago he told me I need to see him yearly for a body check because of some dysplastic neva (fancy name for suspicious moles)

Last year, my mother gave me laser hair removal on my chin and upper lip as a gift. Dr. Sklar's office has a nurse who does only hair removal. Her name is Mary Carson and she works out of the Dallas office. It was a series of six treatments ech four weeks apart. It was such a blessing to have it done!

I have been sprouting whiskers ever since my two kids were born. The laser will not get any hair that is white, but it did a terrific job with my stubble. Black whiskers are a whole lot more embarassing and noticeable than the white ones. I feel a lot better about my appearance. I'm not exaggerating when I say that my beard was almost as thick as my husband's although he is not very hairy.

I really like my new dermatologist. She even does cosmetic dermatology as well. Her name is Dr. Alison Black. She's at 635 and Macarthur Blvd (at Baylor Irving building -- right beside the Salt Grass restaurant). It took a long time to get into see her as a new patient I waited on a list...but it was worth it. She really is attentive and listens to your concerns. Her front desk help is not the MOST pleasant, but if you can look past that her nursing staff is also awesome, ......You can google her to find her website as well. Best of luck......

Hi. My dermatologist is at Trinity Dermatology on Josey Ln. in Carrollton across from Trinity Med. Center. His name is Dr. Pruitt. I like him a lot, all the staff is nice there. Plus, I never have a ridiculous waiting period to schedule like some dermatologists! But, I'm not sure if he does the laser hair removal. He doesn't do the peels, etc. I see him more for my break outs, dry patches,(skin problems)& he helped get rid of a keloid I had around my navel from my tummy tuck, etc. He does do the sclerotherapy for the spider veins which I am seriously wanting! For my peels, injectibles, etc. I see Annie at Park Cities Aesthetics in Medical City. www.parkcitiesaesthetics.com Her office is inside my gyno's office(Dr. Casad) and she's great! They do the laser hair removal there. Please if you do go there, say C. Anderson referred you! ;-) Good luck!!

Hi A.! I use Dr. Barrows in Allen- he also has a location in McKinney as well. I have had psoriasis for almost a year now. I went to every dermatologist in the Dallas area (it seemd like) and the only help I got that has now put it in remission (YAY!) was Dr.Barrows' assistant Dr. Gabriel. His office staff is very knowledgeable and I am sure they could help you too! Hope this helps, good luck!
