Needing a Dermatologist Recommendation for My 9 Year Old - Coppell or Nearby

I took my daughter to the pediatrician to look at a bump on her right forearm, it kind of looks like a bug bite, but it never went away. It feels like a knot and in the past week has started itching and bothering her. My pedi recommended a dermatologist to take a look at it but they have the most random hours and can't take us until the end of August. I would love to find someone that could take us asap to look at it especially since it seems to be getting a little bigger and is bothering her now. Any recommendations?

What can I do next?

Hi L..

Dr. Fleischli is great, I have been to her several times. Also, in the same practice is Dr. Sklar. He was voted one of Dallas' top dermotologist by D Magazine. My husband sees him and really likes him too.

Good luck!

My pediatrician recommended Dr. Ghali, a pediatric dermatologist, for my 2 year old. He has been great! I highly recommend him. His contact info is:

1280 South Main Street
Grapevine TX 76051

I would NOT recommend taking a child to an adult dermatologist.

Dr. Ghali in Grapevine is wonderful. He gives everything alot of thought and analysis to make the best medical treatment plan. He is also very friendly and great with kids.

Hey L. - I go to Dr Fleischli as well. :)
