Good Dermatologist for a Mole Check

My husband and I want to get mole checks done. We are looking for a good Dermatologist. The only one I know of in the area is Dr. Perez. I saw him once years ago, and while he was OK, he was a lacking a little in personality. Does anyone have a recommendation for a good deratologist? We live in the Flower Mound area.

What can I do next?

I have been going to Isaac Perez for 15 years. I just went in a few months ago for a mole check and had some removed. Everyone is really nice and caring! The office is new and clean! Here is the information:

I haven't found a good one, but I would definitely recommend NOT going to Dr. James Bond in Grapevine. He was writing a perscription for me as he was walking into the room and still hadn't even looked up at me yet!! I waited forever, and he was in and out in a second. He made a big deal about the medicine I NEEDED, but if I insisted on continuing to breastfeed then I would have to take meds that really wouldn't do much. I never filled the perscription because I didn't trust him or it.

Through the years, I've been to three in this area: Dr. Angela Bowers, Dr. Mary Fleischli, and Dr. James Bond. My favorite is Dr. Bowers. Her office is in Southlake and I live in Flower Mound, but the drive is worth it! I will never go to Dr. Bond again. I saw him once and that was enough.

She is GREAT and she is located in Las Colinas at 114 and Mac Arthur. Fairly close....

I agree, she is great. Very smart. Also, my husband sees Dr. Sklar in the same office. A few years ago, he was voted best dermatologist by D Magazine. He's great too. My husband has a family history of melanoma and Dr. Sklar has been really proactive. On that note, before Dr. Sklar my husband saw Dr. Perez. He likes Dr. Sklar much more!
