he started drooling, gnawing, and such around 2-3 months old, and finally cut his first tooth! i'm so excited this milestone is out of the way. new moms- what can i expect from here? i've heard that the subsequent teeth that he cuts should be less of a headache- is there any truth to that?? THANKS!!

What can I do next?

Congrats :) the milestones are always so much fun!!
I never knew when mine were teething. No fevers, do excessive drooling, no loss of sleep...suddenly they just had teeth!

Sad to say I've never found that with any of my three children. Does it hurt any less each time you subsequently stub your toe? Does it hurt any less when you hit your funny bone on the wall nah. Doesn't make logical sense and no matter if it's the first or the last tooth they are grumpy, drool ridden, anger balls for those few days. he he

BUT that is one down! yay!

the molars are the hardest and it depends on how many he cuts at once. both of mine cut minumum 4 at a time. like 4 in a week. so the fun just begins. :) congrats and get lots of teething tablets and a leather strap

I hate to give you bad news, but in my experience every tooth was a headache! Each and every tooth that my DD cut was painful and disrupted our lives lol. She just finished cutting her 2 year molars and I am so happy that teething is now in the past for us! Good luck!
