Ok thank you ladies in advance to whoever has the patience to read this question, I did ask this question a few days ago and got some very helpful answers but I was hoping to ask again and maybe get some feedback from different moms, the first day of my last period was June 15th and according to my cervical mucus and my andriod app I would have ovulated the 3rd of July. Me and hubby had sex several times over that weekend because we are ttc our third child. I am suppose to start my period Tuesday. So last Monday I started light pink spotting (not enough to get on my panties just enough on a tissue when I wiped then ttuesday mid day I wiped and there was like a light beige color. Then wednesday nothing all day. Thursday mid morning there was a gush of red but light redish brown (enough to stain my panties about a quarter size) then fri, sat, and today, nothing. I took a clearblue pregnancy test on Wednesday morning early and it was negative. I was trying to google implantation bleeding and everything I've read says implantation bleeding is dark brown. Has any of you ladies had any experience with this? And if any oke could find it in their hearts to say a prayer for me I would really appreciate it because I really want another baby : )

What can I do next?

Time to test again. Last Wed would have been possibly a little too early to give a positive. Don't wast money on expensive tests. Dollar store tests are just as accurate. Best wishes! Midwife Mom

I experienced some spotting I guess you could say when we were ttc last year, and I sadly told my husband "not this month"... I was wrong! I totally thought that I wasn't pregnant but I also didn't completely lose hope. I gave it another week and Happy Valentine's Day to us... a positive pregnancy test. I say give it another week from the last test you took. In between that time you should have your answer. Now, if no period and a negative test when the time comes, then I would visit your OB/GYN. I know it's hard to "relax" in this exciting moment in your life, but tell yourself "If it happens it happens. If not, we try again and again and again" :) When you start feeling stressed about it all, sit down and look at baby pictures of the babies you already have... That always makes me feel warm and fuzzy and carefree :) Fingers are crossed

I think it is a little early for implantation bleeding. With my current pregnancy, I started spotting at about the time I was supposed to start my period. It was sometimes red, sometimes brown and lasted over a month. I got a positive pregnancy test, but I was expecting to miscarry at anytime because of the bleeding. I went in for an ultrasound at about 6 weeks and found out that it had been twins, but one stopped growing very early and caused the bleeding. This isn't very common, but it does happen. Good luck.

Good Luck to you and your husband on conceiving. My husband and I are TTC too. I know that when you stress yourself about it that it can delay your period. Have you seen a doctor to get the clean bill of healthy to start trying to have a baby. Some times even if you have never had any trouble getting pregnant it is a good idea to get a check up.

Don't give up hope and relax. It will happen.

If you are due tomorrow, you can take a test today. I don't think a symptom of implantation bleeding, is "gush of blood." I'm definitely not a Dr. though. Worrying and stress really affect your period, and can affect your fertility. Try to take some deep breaths and relax!

So, your period should be due right now and you had the spotting last week?! If your periods are normal, I would do another test today. Geez, I would have done one everyday since :) I'm a serial tester... I like to waste money and drive myself crazy! When I was pregnant with my daughter, I had pink, not red spotting and thought it was my period starting. Then it turned into a brown smear, then nothing. I did do a First Response test and it was positive. Good luck to you!

28 days would have been last Wednesday. You need to retest and contact your OB/Gyn. If the test is negative, you may be stressing so much about getting pregnant that your body has decided to skip a period. I know it's hard to relax, but you really have to when trying to conceive. If it's positive... which I hope it is... Congrats!

My husband and I went through this for years before we just gave up. Then... guess what? :-P

{{hugs}}

I would go get the "for-sure" pregnancy test from the doctor. I was pregnant for 3 months with my daughter and didn't know - I took 2 pregnancy tests (different brands) right before going to the doctor - so I was almost in 2nd trimester when I took them and they were CLEARLY negative - no sign of pregnancy whatsoever. But I was having just a few symptoms like breast tenderness and some uterine cramps that I had never had before and finally went to the doctor to make sure. We had tried and tried unsuccessfully to get pregnant, and I was just afraid to be disappointed yet again - but to my surprise I was. So I would go get a doctor checkup and find out for sure :) Good luck!

None of what you described sounds like anything close to a period, so I would assume there is a chance you could be pregnant with a false negative home test. The other risk is that you could have an ectopic pregnancy because when you have an ectopic, your bHCG (the hormone that pregnancy tests check for) doesn't rise as fast as a normal pregnancy. That could explain a false negative. Of course, there is a chance that you are not pregnant and your body is just acting up. Regardless, you should be checked by your MD ASAP.

I will tell you though that apparently you can have normal, heavy, period-like bleeding and still be pregnant. Apparently, that's what happened with my pregnancy. By the time I actually missed my period and went to see the OB, she told me I was 3 mos pregnant. I was shocked. Seriously? I had been having heavy bleeding the whole time. There was a hematoma (bleed) around the placenta, but it cleared up on it's own and the pregnancy was fine.
