Could I Be Pregnant?
I had a period on Nov. 6 but only lasted about 2 days and was just very light spotting nothing more. I am already one day late for my next cycle according to mymonthlycycles.com, have a backache, peeing a lot, been sick at my stomach a little bit over the past couple of weeks, been very tired, want to take a nap every afternoon, I am having a little bit of cramping but no bleeding yet. I have taken a pregnancy test just a little while ago and it came out negative. Any thoughts or suggestions? Could I possibly be pregnant?
So What Happened?™
Well I never started my period so I went to the doctor. I am not pregnant but I do have the symptoms of being pregnant. The doctor said that my birth control is what is causing me to have all the symptoms and not have a period. I am on ortho micronor so any one thinking about trying it out, my suggestion is try something else. Thanks for all the help and suggestions everyone. I really appreciate it. Merry Christmas to all!!!

It's very possible. I did the same thing. With my 1st son, I had a 2 day very light period. With my 2nd son, I had cramping for nearly 3 weeks like I was going to have my period, but never did. Technically, your period shouldn't be here until next Tuesday, Dec. 4th. If it were me, I would wait until next Wed or Thurs and take another test, that is if your period doesn't come.

Hi J.!
Sure you could be, but I bet you're not. Is your cycle only 22 days? From what I understand 25-28 days is normal for most women. I would wait another week & if you don't get your period, take another test. As far as being tired... YOU HAVE A TWO YEAR OLD! AND YOU'RE IN SCHOOL!!! I have a 3 yr old & that girl makes me want to nap as well.... Don't jump the gun but do take care of yourself whether you are pregnant or not...

Hello dear, please do not be worry so much about it!!!
you are mentioning all the pregnacy sympthoms at the same time!!! give your self some time, you are only one day late, wait till next week to worry, some times periods will be less than other times, the cramping could be due to changes of weather, a little cooler and damp...all your symthoms are typical of pregnacy but if the test came negative, just relax a little bit, for piece of mind just wait 2 more days and take the test again, make sure you have not eat in 8 hours,
the stomach sickness could be due to worring so much,
some times anciety messes up our body too. Perhaps you have abeen going to start soon, my only sugestion to you is to take another test early in the morning eather in the next 2 days, the test are very accured and if this time came negative most likle you are not pregnat!!!
Please keep in touch! let me know in the next 2 days!!! I'll be praying that it is what God wants for you at this time in your life.

While it is possible that you could be pregnant, it is also very possible that your symptoms are related to stress. I see that you are both a full time mom and a full time college student. That's enough stress to throw anyone's system off-schedule. I've missed my period completely for two months before, only to figure out that it was stress related.

Hi J.,
You very well could be. Last October I was hungry all the time, tired all the time. All the symptoms of being preggo but I was just off the depo shot, so I didn't think anything of it. Well I took a test and it came back neg., but the symptons got worse, my boobs hurt, so I took another one a week later and it came back pos. So you could be early stages of pregnancy and the test just didn't pick it up yet. Good luck to you!!

It sounds like my second pregnancy. I took three at home tests and they all came out negative. My symptoms told me I was pregnant, so I went to the doctor for a blood test and it came back possitive. The only way to know for sure is a blood test.

Go see your family physician or gynocologist right away if you suspect you are pregnant. The home pregnancy tests aren't always effective. I took 3 with my last pregnancy and never got a positive reading, but I now have a beautiful 1-year-old boy. The physicians can do a urine or blood sample, or ultrasound to be sure. Good luck to you! :)

Yes in theory you could be. Although, I have periods like that all the time...I have a ovulating problem. My periods range from 1 to 2 spots to 3-4 medium heavy. I say if you are really excited or scared about knowing and you are supposed to have started already then take another test. If not, calm down (stress will hinder your cycle) and wait a few days. Good luck for whatever outcome you want!
