Hello Ladies,

I would like to know if any of you have any experiences (good or bad) with Comcast and AT&T Bundle Packages (phone, internet and cable tv). Right now I have phone and internet services with AT&T and have no complaints with either at all, and I have cable with Comcast and no complaints really with them either. I'm simply tired of paying 100 plus for both monthly when I can pay 100 plus for all three. I work from home two days out of the week and am a little afraid to switch my internet service, only because I don't won't to be left hanging without service for even one day. Please help me out ladies!!!

Thanks in advance.

No time to read all the responses but I will put my vote in. I have Dish, DSL and Phone bundled through AT&T and I love it. The dish does go out sometimes in bad weather but definitely no more than people I know with regular cable.

K.,
Hi! I have all 3 services w/ Comcast. Overall, I'm happy w/ Comcast. However, I recently moved in June and I had lots of pblms w/ my service at my prior address. Sometimes it was b/c people were unhooking my service and stealing it. I couldn't determine if that's why I always had outages or if Comcast were just bad providers. At my new address I think I may have had one incident where my service was out but it was b/c of an outage in the area. So I suggest just switching the other service over to AT&T if you have never had any pblms w/ them. Since you already have 2 services w/ them anyway that you're satisfied w/. Hope this helps!

Good morning K.!

First, I want you to know that its GREAT to meet another Christian. I love the LORD as well as its GREAT to talk to you!!!

Next, I had Comcast for years. Matter-of-fact, I was with them since 1989 when they were Time Warner but, it seemed that each month, my bill with Comcast was getting higher and higher and I didn't have the bundle package. I had all the cable channels with Comcast but, for some reason one month my bill will be $ 175.00 and then the next month it will be $ 200.00. When I called to ask why, I was told that they had an increase in their services.I also had my telephone & internet service with AT&T. So like you, I was paying (2) different bills. So, I decided to switch to AT&T's U-Verse bundle package and it has certainly made a difference. Its cost effective and I'm saving a lot of money. I have all of the cable channels, the high speed internet services, and the telephone services (which I already had). My bill is much more affordable. So, my suggestion is to switch to AT&T U-Verse but if you have any reservations, pray on it. GOD will not lead you wrong! Take care and have a GOD BLESSED day!!!

I researched this a few months ago, because I hate comcast!! But that is besides the point, with comcast it is a yearly contract to do all three and then with AT&T it is a two year contract because of the provider of the cable, your cable will be with I think Direct. We don't know how much longer we will be in our house, keep thinking about moving, so we stuck with comcast.

I love my Uverse! They have lots of packages: 100, 200 or 400 - depending on your needs or your budget. I got sick of my cable bill creeping up every 6 months. Bundling is the way to go and Uverse has been great!

I changed over from a Comcast bundle to an AT&T bundle a month ago. Comcast was fine (I had been with them for years) except for the cost - they kept adding a few dollars here and there so that I was paying $120+ taxes. I changed to the AT&T bundle for $90 + taxes and the change went very easily. I also received a $50 rebate check. The only problem I had in the first couple of weeks was an Outlook problem, which an AT&T tech solved quite easily when I gave him access to my computer. I am not yet used to the TV channels on AT&T but guess that will come with time!! Comcast thinks that I will be back, but I will wait and see. I always keep an eye open for special offers!

Hi K.,

I have AT&T U-verse, DSL, home phone & cell phone. I have no complaints. U-verse is very clear. I had Direct TV prior to switching to AT&T and pictures on my TV's are even more clear than they were with Direct TV. I like AT&T.

We switched from Comcast to ATT U-verse (internet & tv). We piggy back our TMobile @ Home phone on the internet and have had very few problems... as a matter of fact, other than when we've had an electrical outage, our only down time was the 2 hours or so it took to wire and set up the new system.

Good luck!

We just switched to AT&T Uverse last week and it is great. I heard that their phone service through the internet was terrible, so we kept our old Vonage, but otherwise have our tv and internet through them and are saving money from what we used to pay. (We used to have Direct TV and Time Warner for internet)

We just bundled our Consolidated Communication phone and DSL and cable TV all with Con. Com. Installation was free and took about 3 hours for 3 TV sets and rooms. We had a glitch within 3 days because of problems with the modem they brought out, but they fixed it. When modem went out we had no TV, computer or phone because it is all thru phone lines. Glad we had cell phones!

Now we pay $111 a month for digital cable TV (including HBO and Showtime movie packages- our splurge), home phone (no long distance charges now) and DSL. We were paying $145 a month for Houston metro line with long distance charges and DSL plus $90 a month for Dish Network. It saved us almost $125 a month. One cool thing I like is when you are watching TV and get a phone call, it shows called ID across the bottom of TV screen of name and number of person calling on main TV! We also reviewed our Reliant electric bill and went to Stream Energy and saved almost 3 cents a kilowatt, so now I will be able to put all of this extra money in savings. Do you homework, Ladies! Why pay more if you don't have to?

If AT&T offered the NFL sunday ticket, I would bundle in a heart beat wiht them. Their UVerse program looks really good. 4 DVR in one not to mention all the options tht comes with it. As of now, my home, cel, and internet is with them. In fact I jsut switched my cell from Tmobil to AT&T so I can reduce my bill. I'm paying $20 more combined but I hve more minutes, unlimited text and data and I got a new spiffy phone for free. I can now twitter from my cell. For our TV we will always be with Direct TV bc we are a big NFL fan. So the Sunday Ticket is a must in our house.

I have AT&T uverse- the entrie package, the cable is not so good. My main TV is find but the second TV is out every other week. I have to call them and they have to come and reprogram and change box's. Not to happy with cable. I have an older home so the wiring on it may be the reason.

Thanks,
M.

I would recommend anyone to AT&T over Comcast. We had Comcast for years and the service was awful. We eventually switched to AT&T for our telephone and internet service, however, we have Directv for our tv service. Comcast has always had issues with the telephone service. After Hurrican Ike several of my friends did not have any service that was provided by Comcast (phone, tc, internet) for over a month. Several of them switched. I have have Directv for over a year and we love it. They always have installation specials, at least 4 rooms for 1 price. My only suggestion is that if you decide to go with directv get all of your rooms done at 1 time. We have 6 rooms with receivers installed, HD receiver in 1 of the rooms, and we have all the channels for about $150 per month. I was paying over $200 with Comcast and they had too many reruns, never saw much of anything new.

I have had Comcast now for what seems like almost a year. The internet is great, the digital cable is great on most days(had to call in for rework of the line one time), but the phone is aweful. I have lost the ability to call out or hear the other person on the phone 3-4 times in a month. If you put someone on hold to answer the other line that person can hear your conversations and the worse part is that it starts to sound like the other person is under water in the middle of your conversation or even when you first answer the phone. I have to ask them if I can call them back so I can understand them. Very frustrating!!
To keep constant internet, just do not turn off the first one until the second one is ready. It took about an hour to set up everything but we had to activate 5 TV's. 2 with DVR's. Just everytime the phone goes out I have to call from cell to have them fix it. Most of the time it was out for 24 hours. It will ring but you can not hear the person take so you have to ask them to call back.

I have had the Bundle - Internet, Phone and Cable for a little over one year and have not had any problems at all. It is well worth changing your service. We were "die-hard" Southwestern Bell / AT&T fans, but figured we would give Comcast a try. It has saved us so much money - we normally paid around $70 for the land line phone and now we pay $129 (we have a few extra channels)for all 3 services. Just a word of advice - they offer to set it up, or for a cheaper rate they will bring the software, etc for you to set up your own internet...let them do it! Good luck!

Hi K.. I have never had Comcast but have talked to some who have and they were very frustrated with it; service & hidden cost.
Have had ATT for a few months and the picture quality is incredible. Also, don't take the rebate because it locks you into a contract. Just do the service, month to month. I don't have a landline, but my cell is ATT so I am looking to bundle the tv & internet to that and I know it will drop again. My sister has had the whole bundle, cell, landline, tv, & internet and loves it.
Good luck!!

Hi K.:

I've switched to ATT Uverse TV and internet and it works great! --- check out the website:
https://uverse1.att.com/un/launchAMSS.do and they have great bundles. I had a terrible experience with ComCast cable services - charged for cable for a whole month when they didn't even connect it correctly!! Then they wouldn't give me that money back as credit to my account so I said forget it - I'm switching to ATT Uverse TV is the bomb! Check online to see if it's available in your area.

Have a great day and God Bless!
