Chocolate Recommendations!!!

I need a better chocolate treat!!! I like the flavor of semi-sweet chocolate chips and Dove's dark chocolate, but they are both "waxey" (is that a word?). I have figured out that I eat more of those because I am not getting an intense flavor from just one piece. In my efforts to find something better, I tried a combo pack of Ghiradelli 65%, 72%, and 90% cacao. Ewwww. Apparently, it's not a darker flavor I seek but a richer flavor. I would like to be able to pick some up at a local store. In town, I have regular grocery stores, World Market, and Fresh Market. Any hidden chocolate treasures there that you know about?

Please save me the money and calories in my quest to find the chocolate of my dreams! Thank you!!!

What can I do next?

Do you shop at Aldi's?? Sounds like a weird place to get a super indulgent treat and I can't remember the brand name but there chocolate is imported. And it is DELICIOUS, my favorite is the one with the hazelnuts!

Valrhona dark chocolate. (But not the highest percentage ones.) They sell them at Trader Joe's. You should be able to find them elsewhere.

Lindt makes an extra-dark truffle that is really good. The package is black and silver. Yum.

Try Vosage chocolates. They are gourmet chocolates and incredibly delicious. But they are a little expensive. There are some funky combinations but they are pretty good. You may be able to find them at World Market. They are based out of Chicago so you have a good chance to find them locally in your area. Enjoy!

Godiva dark chocolate is good. The Vosage is also good but to me, expensive. but this could be a luxury type thing when you really want something different since they have different additions to their chocolate. Lindt is a melt in your mouth pleasure, regardless of the type-dark, milk, etc. And I have to agree that Hersheys is okay but not like it used to be. It doesn't even melt for dipping like it used to. If you can, check out the international foods/cookies section of your grocery if you have one. The Tony's Supermarket by me has one and there is a Polish brand that is just.....sigh. Now I need to get some chocolate.
