Help! My 16 mo. old b/g twins are due for their first haircuts, or really hair "shapes". I don't want to take them to someone who will just "chop chop chop" - I'd like to keep most of the length they have, but they need some shaping desperately. Does anyone know a good place in Frisco or East Plano to take them for this? I have NO idea...
Thanks!!

K.,
Cartoon Cuts in the Stonebriar Mall is excellent. They are right outside of Macy's.

I haven't taken my 3 month old for a haircut yet, but I'm sure I will soon (he has hair over 3 inches long already)! Anyway, my best friend takes her son to Cool Cuts 4 kids in Arlington and loves it! They are 100% for kids - I'm sure you'll have a great experience.

I would recommend Cartoon Cuts in Stonebriar Mall. I took my son there for his first few haircuts and he really liked it. Even for his first cut, they took pictures and e-mailed them to me and gave him a first haircut certificate with his strands of hair attached.

I agree w/ Cool Cuts for Kids in Toys R Us in Frisco. That's where we've always gone , in fact we were just there yesterday! The staff is super nice and very patient w/ the young ones. And for a first haricut you get commemorative lock of their hair and a photo.

My son just turned two last week and I've been taking him to Cool Cuts 4 Kids inside the Toys R Us in Frisco. He's been there several times and he loves it. They cater to young children. They have a fire engine or car that has a steering wheel that he sits in while they are cutting his hair and they face a TV so they can watch cartoons while getting their haircut. I think it even has a place for a video or dvd. He loves it and the ladies who cut his hair are very good about making sure it is done exactly the way I want it done. You may have to wait a while if you go on a Saturday or just before school starts, otherwise I haven't had any problems. Here is there website which shows a picture from inside. http://www.coolcuts4kids.com/indexa.jsp

Hi K.,

I had a great experience at Kids Zoo Cuts in Allen. My son Justin just turned 1 and had his first haircut. The girls at this salon were super nice. They worked with him and he had no problem adjusting. I recommend Gloria who has a great attitude and made Justin feel comfortable. He had an excellent haircut.
They gave us a super nice 1st haircut certificate free of charge. The salon is super nice full of animal pictures all over. They gave me a coke and Justin a juice box. He also got a token for a toy from a machine. I trully recommend this salon, you'll love it!!!
