I use lots of direct sunlight for food stains-esp tomato-I take the clothes from the washer-if they still have a stain instead of putting them in the dryer I lay them out in the sun-and lately we have had plenty of it!!
My biggest stain challenge is chocolate milk!

Well, if you don't have Sol-U-Mel.....which is a Melaleuca product.....I would use Dawn dish washing soap.

Melaleuca products are awesome, especially their clothes wash and whitener.... Plus you only use a half an ounce of clothes wash per load!! It's awesome and lasts a long time!!

good luck

Really, I don't use any extra products. I always use Tide with Bleach Alternative and it works on everything. If there is a stain, I just put an extra dab of Tide on it.

You have to treat the stain based upon what it is - fat, protein, etc.

Things like blood stains (bloody noses, scrapes, etc) are best treated with hydrogen peroxide/oxyclean. Bleach is great on things like grass stains, tomatoes, etc. Laundry soap is great on grease stains. Alcohol works best on ink stains.

It's worth a visit to the Queen of Clean's website - even though you have to pay for her advice. She swears she can get anything out.

I use ZOUT for everything. I put it on the stain and let it sit in the laundry basket until I do my laundry. I have not found a stain yet that it was not able to remove. It works great. Dont waste your time with the spray - use the 'gel' format - comes in a squeeze bottle.
