Best Chocolate Cake?

Hi Momma's-

I would like to send out a Chocolate Cake to a couple of family members for the holidays that are out-of-state and I thought who better to ask than the Chocolate-Lover Mommas out there.

Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks to all of the Mommy's who have responded! Out of 9 responses, 8 Mommy's responded with Portillo's having the best chocolate cake. Amazing! I would have never guessed and am in complete shock by this response but I will definately have to go try some now! You guys have peaked my curiousity. Thanks so much and Happy Holidays!

suggestion to use any kind of bundt cake pan for this idea - i'v never used a regular or round pan for this...if you are looking to not do it from scratch get a dunkin hines mix box - put an additional egg in the batter and a 1/4 cup of vege oil - bake as suggested on the box
take it out of the oven and place a can of frosting (chocolate of course) in the microwave until its a liquid and pour it all over the cake - cover the top loosely
with a towel and let it sit until it is completely cooled - and i mean completely cooled and then you can turn it over and you
will have a pretty (because of the bundt pattern) moist, chocolaty cake you will ever have that's not made from scratch!

Hello N.,

The Best Chocolate Cake would be from Portillo's. I have sent many of there items to out of town family members. I am not sure if they mail their chocolate cake, but it would not hurt to look. It is the best cake ever. www.portillos.com

hah - that is so funny, that is the first thing that popped into my head - portillo's, they have fantastic chocolate cake, not sure about the shipping

they have an excellent chocolate bavarian custard cake thing too
