My fiance and I are trying to decide where we will go on our honeymoon. I love the beach, so we are trying to decide which one. Originally we were going to drive, but we've decided we will fly. St Martin. I love the French side - we did the honeymoon package here. It was amazing! Oh, and I am from South Florida - I'm used to Ft. Lauderdale, Sanibel, Key West, etc. My husband, who is from VA, says I have "high beach expectations".

Avoid the Florida Panhandle...Destin, Panama City, Etc. It will only be in the 60's in February. Get further south. Miami and Key west both have amazing beaches and they will be much warmer.

My brother & SIL recently went to Jamaica & loved it...
We have been to Jamaica a couple of times and it is awesome.. There are some great all inclusive resorts, the weather is nice, and it is affordable. Plus it is only like a 3-4 hour flight from DFW. I have a Costco card and have booked threw them to save money and got great deals. My favorite place we stayed (was for our honeymoon) was Couples Swept Away in Negril, it was great but something a little more affordable but still very nice was the Hilton Rose Hall and Spa. The people in Jamaica are so friendly too! Good luck

Hawaii is the best! I loved both the Big Island and Kauai.
The last few summers our family has gone to Perdido Key which is in Florida. I'm not sure what the weather is like there in February but it is a BEAUTIFUL area. It is on the border of Florida & Alabama. The beaches there are private so they are not crowded, they have white sand & emerald water. The condos we have stayed in are called Perdido Towers & they are very nice. I'm not sure about hotels in the area but there are several different condos & they all seem to be really nice.
