Has anyone see the Bee Movie? Have your kids? My kids are 5 and 2. What are your thoughts of this movie for kids this age?

My 5 and 2 year old LOVE it. My 4 year old nephew LOVES it. My 11 year old daughter even liked it - and my husband and I thought it was cute, too.

We had some pretty serious discussions about exploitation - especially with the 11 year old, about how important it is to ask with the 4 and 5 year old. Overall, I thought it was great.

My son watched it in March, and he'll be 5 in July. He loved it and I thought it was really cute. I didn't watch every minute with him but I watched quite a bit and didn't notice anything bad.

My 5,6, 9 and 13 year old all watched it. They liked it. We even bought it for them. My opinion, it was an okay movie.

My 3 yr old didn't like it -- a couple of scenes scared him. He's a bit sensitive though. He still talks about it though.

It may be too long for a 2 year old and not sure on the 5 year old. My son is 7 and seemed to enjoy it though I found it to be horrible.

You may want to rent it before you buy it to be sure.

I thought it was ok for my 3 year old. There are a lot of things that go right over her head. A couple things that the movie could have left out to make it more appropriate for young children.

I highly recommend http://www.pluggedinonline.com/ for family friendly movie reviews. They really break down the content of a movie in detail so you know exactly what to expect.

My 2 year old loves it! We play it in the car. He loses interest in the courtroom scene but that part is not very long. The rest of the movie is great and colorful. He laughs at a couple of parts and loves the big and strong pollen collector bees.

Another great source is www.commonsensemedia.org. They break down movies, music, videos, etc. I have a 15 year old who is always wanting to go to the movies with friends. This is the first place I look before giving her the OK.

Our little one loves it - he's 2 1/2. I ALWAYS watch the movies with them the 1st time at least... I approve of it -- and I'm a tough nut to crack with movies... It's cute, and innocent...
