Good Morning Everyone:):):)I am looking for help finding out where I can go online or at a store to buy one of these baby wraps I see people at the mall and all over using. I was at the mall the other day and I saw a guy carrying his two year old in one and the kid was so comfortable and calm and the guy told me his son loved being wrapped in it and he told me to go online; well wala by the time I made it back to my car (an hour later) I forgot the name of the website he told me to go to. I woudl love for some help on this if anyone knows the site he may have mentioned. I have a 20 month son who weighs 30 pounds. I go on Tuesday's to feed the homeless for my church and I hold him on one hip and feed the people using my right hand. It is exhausting but I love doing it. My son won't sit in his stroller and although my daughter tries to entertain him either in the car with the TV or walking around she doesn't much want to. She rather enjoys feeding the homeless along with me. It is also very dark out when we do this and I can't keep an eye out on him with so many people around. If there is a store in town I would prefer going there so I could get one right away. However if the best place is online please let me know where to go, I would like to buy one ASAP. Thanks in advance for your help. A.

A. you can get a "hotsling" at Target for about 30 bucks. They are really handy.

Best of luck in all you do.

Peppermint.com has pretty much all the wraps and a great comparison chart. I use the Moby wrap with my 7 month old and I love it, the weight is dispersed over both shoulders and she is closer to the core of my body which makes it less pull as well. I can nurse in it, bottle feed in it, or carry her facing forwards or backwards with legs hanging out. You can also adjust it for older infants to carry them on your hip. It does take a few practice trials to get good at it. $35
For my older toddler, I love the Playtex hip hugger. It allows the child to sit on your hip, although they advise you keep one arm around him. I love this thing.
I want the Ergo carrier. It is around 90 something. It is a great back carrier with extra support around your waist to take the weight off your shoulders.
Check out the comparison chart at peppermint.com

I think you are talking about a Hotsling you can buy them at Target stores or any local store that sells them from the company it self. You can also go on Hotslings.com and order them online but some times there are cheaper at Target. Hope that helps.

I think you are talking about a sling. You can just google baby slings and several choices will come up.

I'm not sure which type of sling/wrap you're referring to. I used both a Maya wrap and another ring sling (with solarveil) material for my kids and I loved them, but I don't think I could have stood around with 30 pounds for a long time with them. We bought our Maya at www.kangarookorner.com, I can't remember where we bought the solarveil.

I haven't used an Ergo, but I am a member of an online community where a lot of Moms rave about them for bigger kids. You might look into those - but beware - they are pricey! http://www.ergobabycarrier.com/

Good luck!

I am not sure if this is what your are looking for but what I am thinking of are Hotslings. They are great and can hold a toddler on your hip instead of your arm doing all the work. They now sell them at Target in a few select patterns but you can get them online at hotslings.com and they have a ton of choices. Hope this helps!

I bought one of the adjustable cotton pouches from the KangarooCorner.com website. I'm a large woman and tried all kinds of carriers to find one that would be comfortable for me and baby. I ended up buying a larger size than I needed (hoping that my husband would also use it), so make sure to not buy one that is too large. I've only used it a few times, but I like it! There are so many styles of pouches, slings, and carriers, it really takes some exploration. Good luck in your search!
