I am a huge music hound...seriously, have like 40,000 songs and counting!

Do you have your go to songs that just lift your spirits, get you moving or that you just love to hear, no matter what, no matter when?

For me-
Just about anything by Sara Bareilles or Billy Joel or Michael Buble
Florence and The Machine-Dogs Days are Over
All Dressed in Love-Jennifer Hudson- from SATC movie #1
Seasons of Love by the cast of Rent
September-Earth Wind and Fire

What can I do next?

I always tell my students (I teach HS) that if I come roaring into the parking lot with Ball and Chain by Social Distortion blaring, to give me a lot of space because it's been a rough morning at home : ) That song always makes me feel better. It's a good "yell-along" song.

I have been on a KLOVE kick ( it is a Christian Radio station) I can't not smile when I hear Audio Adrenaline's I Get Down, I love This is The Stuff by Francesca Battistelli too.
Pretty much anything by the Beatles, upbeat Billie Joel or Dave Matthews Band, also a big fan of Ben Folds Five...my music tastes kind of jump all over the place = ) When the kids are grumpy I will put on a cd I have had since forever, it is one of They Might Be Giants and we just sing along and dance silly = ) Music has always been a big part of my life all through growing up, my mom would listen to a lot of disco and to this day I pop some disco on if I need a pick me up = )
Great Question! I love seeing who other people like and finding new favorites! Thanks = )

80's rock. I have a Bon Jovi Pandora station and I listen to it ALL the time :)

If I want to feel a little more hip, I turn on some more recent dance tunes.

If I want to sing along, I turn on some country or some 80's ballads.
