Anyone Here Own a Toyota Sienna LE?

I have a 2007 Sienna LE and it gets terrible gas mileage. I know vans don't get the greates mileage, but I think it should be better than 14 miles a gallon? I should also add that we bought this van in may and it was kept in perfect shape. Everything about it seems new. It only had one owner and seriously, it looks and drives brand new (except the mileage). Maybe there's something wrong that is easy to fix?

What can I do next?

Get it checked out. I know I get better mileage than that with mine. It could be bad tires, it could be a fuel pump issue or something like that. If you are hauling around a lot of weight that can have an effect too. I recently read that even an extra 100 pounds can noticeably affect your gas mileage.

We have a Toyota Sienna, though it's a 2004 and not the LE. It has over 100K miles on it now. We are the original owners and bought it brand new with only a handful of miles on it. It doesn't get gas mileage that low. I would bring it in and have it checked over to see if something is wrong with it.

I have one that is a 2008. I am the original owner. I have to fill it up about once a week (around $50) and I drive about 10 miles to work and back everyday, plus other random places I need to go to through out the week. I love my van and haven't had any major problems yet. The only thing that bothers me is that in the 5 years I've had it, I've had to get new brakes 3 times.

I have a 2013 Highlander. They tried to talk us into a Sienna SE (the sporty one) for a few minutes. One of the selling features is that the gas mileage was basically the same. 20-22 around town and 25-28 on the highway.

I'd have it looked at.

We have one, a 2008, I think. It usually gets 20-22 mph.
Have a good mechanic check it out.

Good luck!

Holy cow. My 2002 Trailblazer gets 19 miles around town, 22 highway!
My new Pilot gets 20 around town and 24.5 highway! Ditch that van!

We have a 2006 Sienna
We get better mileage than yours at 14.

Once a mechanic told us that it can depend on how you drive, your tires, stop and go traffic, and if a person is a lead foot, and basically if the car is kept up per maintenance and tire inflation etc.
Who knows.
Maybe take yours to a mechanic.
