Ok, this sounds SOOO stupid, but I'm asking anyways. I have not had a date night with my hubby since 2 weeks before my 3 year old was born. We are FINALLY getting a night out downtown in a few weeks, and my closet is bereft of cute clothes. I am not near the weight I would like to be, so I have been resisting buying clothes, but I would really like to look nice that night.
Are there any stores in the Western suburbs with sales associates who will actually help you put together a nice outfit? (I have great legs, but not an ideal backside, so a dress is out of the question for now.) I'm looking to spend no more than about $150ish.
Hot Mama is Naperville....It's a bit on the pricey side but they will definately help you
I love Nordstrom in Oak Brook. If you can find someone who looks good to you and seems to have the same taste (i.e., wearing something you like or near your age) they can help you immensely. It would almost be like a personal shopper.

I have always found the sales associates at Von Maur exceptionally helpful (and kindly honest when need be!) There is a Von Maur at Yorktown Mall in Lombard and at Charlestown Mall in St. Charles.
Another vote for Van Maur and they include alterations.
Ann Taylor Loft is a great place. I usually go to the one downtown Naperville and all of the sales associates are really helpful. Sue, the manager, is extrememly helpful!!
