I need help :) My hubby is turning 40 next month and I would really like to get him something "special"! We are taking a trip to Vegas this summer to celebrate his bday and his health, but I'd like something for him to open.
His hobbies are hunting and fishing and has everything he would ever need for those. He loves to bbq ~ would a new, fancy bbq be a weird gift?
I'm open for suggestions! TIA

What can I do next?

He'd probably love a new grill (what man wouldn't?! LOL).....or.....tickets to an upcoming event/concert/show?

Does he have his eye on a new grill? If you know the one, and you feel you can spend the money then do it :) I think most men would LOVE that gift if it is something they enjoy doing.

Otherwise may a fun hunting trip that you book through some trip agent (I am sure some where they plan things like that), like buffalo hunting or something that maybe he has never done but might like. Or a fishing trip on a special boat trip just him and a friend if you have something in the area that offers that.

A grill would be good, but my favorite gifts are experiences. A BBQ will last for a few years, but the memory of a special trip, a skydiving or bungee jump, a helicopter ride, etc will last a lifetime. I just turned 40, and asked for an indoor skydive. It was great!

grill = good.
tickets to a show while in Vegas
get something he killed stuffed and mounted
you could book him a 2 day guided hunting or fishing trip to someplace cool

Hi Stephanie,

A grill sounds great (and it would be a perk for you too). My husband is a hunter also. He says a really nice range finder would be a great gift. Or maybe a hunting/fishing style frame with his or both of your pictures in it?

Have fun in Vegas! Jealous!! :-)
