First Baptist Garland has a choir and music program. You might like to check it out.
Richardson East Church of Christ has an acappella worship service and great childrens' and teen ministries. It is a very family-oriented church and very loving.

I've heard great things about Centerville Road Church of Christ. I don't know anything about the youth group though. If you're looking for a great youth group you should check out Saturn Road Church of Christ. They have a huge very active youth group. http://www.saturnroad.org/
