Richardson Working Mom Seeks Friends for Mommy and Toddler

I highly recommend visiting Richardson East Church of Christ. Some people know this church as the CARE church or RECC. It is located near Campbell and Plano Road. I think you would meet some nice people to do things with and possibly go to church there.

My family went to RECC for many years and now live in Rockwall. We lived in Richardson for 14 years. It is a great city to live in!

Hi G.! There's a Richardson Rugrats playgroup on MeetUp that seems pretty active. I'm a working mom, so I can never make their playdates, but I get the notices. I don't know if you're in Canyon Creek or not, but they also have a Moms group.

if u don't mind driving, there is a plano working moms group www.meetup.com/planoworkingmoms. they are also on Facebook. just type Plano working moms to do a search. you'll find them. we do things all over the place,not just in Plano.

I am a mom in the canyon creek area... who do you contact to find out about their Mom's group? I googled it and can't find anything on any canyon creek mom's groups! Help!! ;)

I know you said you are a working mom, but they have some activities scheduled in the evenings. I have a 2 1/2 year old daughter as well and will be involved in the group this year, so I would love to meet you!

A couple other great ways to meet moms are www.momsclub.org, www.dfwareamoms.com, and the local early childhood PTA. When you go to the Mom's Club website, you can find the group near you via your zipcode. There are probably several ECPTA groups depending on your location in Richardson. Some great free magazines to pick up are Dallas Child (www.dallaschild.com)and North Texas Kids (www.northtexaskids.com). They are in stores, doctor's offices, etc that are kid oriented. These magazines are full of information about kid's activities and events. Also try www.momsoutloud.com for info/activities/groups.
