This will be for 5 to 9 girls, ages 7 & 8. These girls are high energy - not the tea party types. Bowling sounds great, but I'd like a place where they can do more than one thing. ie: arcades... I'd also be interested in a Scavenger Hunt, or something...HELP!

We live in Bowie.

Try Planet fun. We had my sons party there and all 12 kids left saying it was the BEST PARTY EVER!! It's kindda like the kids version of Dave and Busters! http://www.planetfun.net/

I just learned that Pump It Up! has opened in Waldorf, there are also locations in Lanham and Glen Burnie. I haven't been there yet, pending a party on the 27th, but it looks like fun. Info from site:

Only at Pump It Up "The Inflatable Party Zone" can you enjoy a private, indoor party with giant interactive inflatable play structures.

A Pump It Up party is a fun and unforgettable event for ages 2 to adult! Surf our website for more information, or give us a call.

Check it out!

Here's the link to the Waldorf location: http://pumpitupparty.com/md/waldorf/home-p1q100044.htm

Hope this helps!

There is a place in your area called Pump it Up. Take a look at it. It is a huge warehouse size area filled with tons of inflatable jumping things. We have been there for several parties and the kids are always worn out! Have fun! T here is always lazer tag which is more of a boy thing but.....my daughter and her friends love it too. There is one in Laurel.

I also live in Bowie, but my suggestions aren't in Bowie. I do think they will be worth checking out, especially for high energy little girls. One idea might be to try Earth Treks - it's a rock climbing indoor facility in Columbia. Only about 1/2 an hour away. It's only one activity but it is really a lot of fun. Here is the link to get more information:

Also, when my daughter was 9 we had her birthday party at the Crofton roller skating rink. She loved it. They get to skate, and there is an arcade. Plus, there are organized skating activities - hokey pokey, limbo, etc. She had a blast. And the party planners are very helpful. That was about 4 years ago, but I'm sure it's still the same.

Good Luck. Hope this helps.
