What web site can I go to in order to get more info. on when I'm due ( Calendar )
and food that would be good to eat? Pictures on what the baby looks like each
month would be nice, also. Thank you to all the moms that can help.
Take Care. L.

My friend when she was pregnant went to this website that would tell her when she was due and it was babyhopes.com. You may want to try that.

A great website for fetal development info is here:
http://www.babycenter.com/pregnancy-fetal-development-index
It takes you through each and every week! :)

You can make a little pregnancy calendar here, too: http://parenting.ivillage.com/pregnancy/calendar

My personal favorite site for pregnancy is http://babyfit.sparkpeople.com/ - You can get custom meal plans, or just track what you are eating and find good recipes.... Plus you can learn about fitness in pregnancy and their weekly emails are awesome! They also have "MommyTeams" which are like little online groups of people that you have something in common with! VERY nice bunch of people on that site!!!

I love babycenter.com The calender on it still follows my daughter now with her milestones. Just the other night we were wondering how much sleep she should be getting and there it was in my e-mail inbox. A weekly up date with "how much should your baby be sleeping in it". Can't recommend it more highly!!

Also another one I loved. It's not much of a medical one but a funny one that relates to how you are feeling each week. http://www.alphamom.com/pregnancy-calendar/ The women who created it is such a sweet sounding goof ball. She makes light of the aches and pains and all those "fun" things we go through. It was nice to see a "real" persons humorous view on it all.

Good luck to you! I'm predicting another boy!

Hi L.,

I have a 20 month old son and when I was pregnant I signed up at www.babycenter.com. It was the best website! you could put in your expected due date and it would calculate for you weekly what your baby is developing that week or month. It was a great learning tool as well. It answers all kinds of questions that you may have. It has great pictures of your developing baby as well. Good Luck!

I agree with the others: babycenter is great. It not only tracks your pregnancy, but after the baby is born sends info about the babies age. YOu can also have it send you info about the older kids. I get at least one email weekly about ideas/suggestions for my kids. LOVE IT

The best site on what to eat when you are pregnant is www.blueribbonbaby.org. This is based on Dr. Tom Brewer's diet. He did extensive research on preeclampsia and how to avoid it with diet. I am a senior midwife student and we recommend this diet to all of our mothers. Also, the best books to read when pregnant are: The Thinking Woman's Guide to Better Birth by Henci Goer and any book by Sheila Kitzinger. I never recommend the book, What to expect when you are expecting. That book is full of false information.

Are you pregnant now?
A good websit, ot what i used was babynamesworld.com It is a baby name website but if you scroll down and on the right of the page is a week to week on the baby. It tells you a little about what to expect that week and a picture of what the baby looks like that week...untill delivery.
im not sure where to look on food advice..i know to consume very little caffine, no medicines, and of course no alcholic stuff. as far as food goes, just dont over do it. Hope that helps..

A site that I went to is www.twoweekwait.com
There are message boards that you can post on for pregnancy and you can talk to other mommies-to-be that are due the same month as you. It really helps to talk to others that are going through the exact same experience.
Good luck and have fun with your pregnancy!

Babycenter.com is definitely one of the ways to go...you register with them and they will send you weekly updates on what your baby's growth is for that week and photos of what they look like now. This website also follows the childs growth after they are born and what you might be dealing with with a newborn and toddler...it is great!! I also used it to answer many questions while I was pregnant as well.

I lived on babycenter.com when I was pregnant. I always forgot what week I was in and I could just type it in there. I'd just type "due date calculator" in a search engine and click the link for baby center and it took me straight to the calculator and then I'd click the related links for baby's growth and stuff from there.

Congrats on your pregnancy!

I was checking what others were saying because I was interested as well. I've been using huggies.com which will track how far you are and give you information on what to expect or "You need to start setting up the nursury" etc. It doesn't show pictures of the baby's size but does have a lot of good information. I'm definitely going to check out the babycenter.com as well.

I know its not a calendar or a website but there is a book called The Pregnancy Journal. It has you start with your due date and then calculate back to when you concieved. It gives a daily description of what is going on along with some hints, reminders, suggestions or other facts. Its not a picture book but is very informative. One of my friends was expecting and this was the first thing I got her. Hope you try it out!
