Hello Ladies!
Can somebody advise a nice, shady, and clean beach at the lake in Dallas metroplex area or close by. We have almost 3 years old boy and would like to go and have a nice picknick.

Little Elm has a great beach and it's free! There are picnic tables and a playground. I take the kids there a lot during the summer to go swimming.

Meadowmere Park on Lake Grapevine has a decent beach area with tables and trees. The playground is very close by as well. Last summer it was $5 per car.

Lake Park Lewisville would be my second choice. Just east of 35E and 407. I think it's $10 to enter there. http://familyeguide.com/Lake-Park-Lewisville.html

Lake Ray Roberts has some nice beaches. I am not sure about beaches at Lake Grapevine, but it would be closer to you.
