70Th Birthday Invitation Cards
My sisters and myself are planning on throwing a 70th bday party for our dad. We want to print inviation cards and I need some ideas. I would like to begin the invitation with a famous quote. If you have one that symbolizes a great life/person, please send it to me. Also, if you have any ideas on the content and the format please share with me.
Thanks.

For my dad's 70th bday last year I organized a surprise visit. All 4 of us kids live in different states than my dad, so i arranged for all of us to fly in and surprise him for dinner. Then I took all the best pictures from the weekend and made an 14X20 photo collage and had it framed. The quote in the middle of the pics is: "My father didn't tell me how to live; he lived, and let me watch him do it."
It's been almost a year & a half and he still talks about it as one the best moments of his life.

Not sure who said it but my mom just got married and her invitation had a quote i absolutely love--"grow old with me--the best is yet to be"

Hello DD,
I have a great resource for printing your cards and sending the invitations. They have over 5,000 cards to choose from or you can design your own. You may get some really great ideas from looking through them (a lot of them have some great quotes). You could take a quote from one and design your own one. Plus you could have a picture of your dad on the front of the card, etc. On top of that, it will cost you a lot less than trying to get them printed somewhere.
Go to www.sendoutcards.com/15570
Click on the banner with my picture and it will automatically set you up with a gift account for you to try it out and give you a quick tour.
If you have any questions, or if you would like me to walk you through it personally, just e-mail me back and I'll send you my cell number.
Good luck!
J.
