6Th Anniversary Ideas
My husband and I will be celebrating our 6th anniversary on June 14th. We always follow what the gift is to give for each anniversary according to "tradition" and this year it's candy. My husband isn't a huge candy person, but he does like Kit Kat's, I'm trying to find a unique way to give him a candy anniversary gift that he'll appreciate. I found a place online that does candy bouquet's, but was hoping to find something that was less expensive. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

You could leave a trail of those kit kat singles and you would be at the end of the trail. With a romantic dinner or something.

Wrap yourself up in a big Kit Kat wrapper. You could make one out of whatever is around the house (don't forget to include saran wrap though!) ;)

You know those diaper cakes that people make for baby showers? What if you made something like that out of Kit Kats? You could use a tin or a circular cardboard box and then gluegun Kit Kat's on it.

ok....I am not crafty..but how about getting a wreath form from a craft store and pinning? glue? sticking the little sized kitkats to it and decorating it with kitkat colored flowers/bows in between...I bet it would look really cool and soon the wreath would be empty after he eats them all!
best of luck and Happy 6th!

Have you ever done the idea where you wrap a little box, put it into another box, wrap that until you have 4 or 5 boxes inside each other? In the bottom box have Kit Kat bars.

Similar to another response, but to be arranged in a regular vase, is to go to the grocery store and buy those foot long kebob sticks and glue or tape the small kitkat bars to each end. Vary the heights of the sticks and add small pictures of your wedding day or honeymoon and place a card on one stick with your date. If you want to do an arrangement, get a green foam block from any florist or craft store, and in addition to the kebob sticks with items, intersperse some simple flowers. Carnations are small, inexpensive, can be had in multiple colors and hold up well. Guys like flowers too! You could also "copy" the popular edible arrangements and use chocolate dipped fruits on the sticks between kitkats. Have fun........Happy anniversary!!

Make soemthing yourself using candy - Michaels or AC Moore could give you ideas for copying a candy bouquet.
One thing I like to do for my husband is to give him somehting fun and practicle for the whole day versus one big gift. For instance, you oculd hide Kit Kats all over his space - his nightstand, his car, his jacket pocket, his desk at work, etc. Or you could make him a "get through the day" pack - buy him a lunch bag or picnic basket and filll it with a picture of the family, a crossword book, chocolate milk or a chocolate latte or hot chololate mix, some nuts or pretzels, and of course candy.
You could also google and look for a chocolate tasting or candy making class. Some wineries might do a wine tasting paired with choolate - red wine and dark chocolate is awesome. Also, you oculd make a fancy dinner with a candy theme. I am not a good cook, but I bet you could find some dishes that use cocoa.

If the candy bouquet is what your looking for but without the price. A great way I have done this is to go thestore(Michael's, JoAnns) and get a decrative container and put a phone piece inside and get some sticks(long toothpick like) and make your own bouquet. You will be amazed how cute it comes out and you can be more creative with personal touches. You ca put small pic of you and your family, pic of times you have shared thoughout the years, and of course, for tradition sake, throw in his candy. Sounds cute already.

There are lots of good ideas already but you could also incorporate candy into a recipe. If your husband is a sweets fan but not necessarily candy, you could find a delicious recipe made with candy. Also, on the more intimate side, you could purchase some body chocolate or a chocolate soap bar (Chocoholics is the brand) and plan a special evening in and alone for the two of you. Good luck and happy anniversary!
