I have been trying to get pregnant for awhile. I had a miscarriage at the first of October. Then I had a cyst so my period was only 15 days apart then 21, 22 and 23 days. An now I am 30 days since my last period and I still haven't started. I have taken the hpt and all of them come back negative. I don't know what to do. I am just so frustrated!!

What can I do next?

First I would call your Dr and have them test you, then if you are not pregnant I would recommend learning how to do your BBT (Basal Body Temp) and chart your cycles, it is easy to do and you will be able to determine when you ovulate and even when you are pregnant, I didn't need to use a hpt on my second child all I had to do was take my temperature... and I know I was pregnant. there is a book and a website called Taking charge of your fertility, by Toni W (I forget how to spell her last name) I think the website is tcoyf.com but you can google it if I'm wrong... I'm done having kids so I haven't needed to refer to it lately but it got me pregnant 3 times (4 actually but I had one miscarriage).

Try to relax and don't stress. With my first baby, my test at 12 days late came back negative. Another test at 15 days late confirmed my pregnancy. Just schedule a quick visit to your GYN for a blood test to see if you're pregnant. Hope you are!!

I had a problem when trying to conceive my last baby where I stopped having a period for a while. My Dr. said I wasn't ovulating, so I had to start back on birth control to get my periods regular again, then get off to try to get pregnant. You should probably talk to your dr. It sounds like your cycle is just wonky since the miscarriage. I'm so sorry for your loss and wish you the best of luck getting pregnant!

You can request a blood test from your OB to see if you are pregnant. Good luck!!!

If you're really concerned, call your doctor. A blood test isn't more likely to confirm a pregnancy than a urine test. It is most likely that you are not pregnant, but if your cycle is inconsistent, talk with your doctor.

Don't stress out sweetie. My daughter never had a positive urine test the whole 9 mo. but her blood work showed it. Then when she ws preg. with her 3rd even her blood work didn't show positive. Her dr. did sono. that's how she knew for sure. She was always regular & so missed periods as well as the other ussual symptoms is how she new.
Both of my girls have always had problems with cyst and once they rupture or what ever it is they do, they were both very firtile so if I were you I'd just go to the dr. & find out for sure.
God bless you and good luck.
