My 3 year old had a blast there but I agree with the previous mom. The lady at the front desk looked so unhappy to be there. She had her face in the computer the whole time we were there and the guy next door at the karate came in several times yelling at her. I was so embarrassed for her. Were they married? The kids had a lot of fun the the people that worked there need better people skills.

I live in Anthem Az, and own a business in Anthem AZ. I feel it is important to live local, shop local, and play local. That being said we will not be returning to The Play Fort. Our first experience was not only was it a little pricey for what is offered, the owner was not very pleasant. Our second experience was also very unpleasant. We rented The Play Fort for my daughters birthday. The charge was 150.00 for 2 hours up to 10 kids. Plus 10 dollars for the pinata which we provided and filled. This does not include anything but utilizing the space. We provided everything else. I new this going into it, however this is the service we got the day of the party. We were told we could be there early to set up. We showed up and nobody was there to let us in. We waited, and then we went in next door to the taekwondo studio to see when they would be open next door. Since the taekwondo building and The Play Fort are partners. Because they were in the middle of class I chose not to interupt, so i went back to my car. The Taekwondo instructer than tried to open up but did not have the key. He then let us in through his door. The owner of the play fort came in late, huffed and rolled her eyes as though we were an inconveinience to her. Her son though, who is 13ish, was a great help. He offered to help in anyway. The owner however, not only seemed bothered by us, but was rude to our party guests. Remember she does not provide anything but the space. Fifteen minutes after guest started to arrive, I had to ask her to inflate the bounce houses. When it came time for the pinata, we thought they at least would hang it, seeing that we provided and filled it, and we payed her an extra 10 dollar fee. nope, think again. When we asked what we should do she pointed us in the direction to the ladder, and then told us to hang it wherever. We hung it, after the kids broke it and got their candy, we cleaned it up as though it had never been hung in the first place. When the party was over we cleaned up as though we had never been there. As i was putting my 5 week old baby in the car seat and the remainder of my guests were walking out the door, the owner of the play fort start kicking us out saying she had another party waiting in the parking lot and she needed to mop still. first of all the parking lot was empty, nobody waiting, second of all we were told that we had fifteed minuted after our party time to clean up. We were cleaned up and out of the building in less than the 15 min alloted. She was short with several of the guests and with the children. When asked if she had a marker we could borrow for a second, she had attitude to lend it, then couldn't find it because of her disorganization. My point is, that if you are going to pay somebody 160.00 for space rental only, the least they could do is show up on time, inflate the inflatables, and have a smile on your face. If you are going to charge 10 dollars for a pinata, that has to be provided and filled by the customer, than hang it for them. The only good thing was that the children were to young to pick up on any of this so they had a great time. But i warn those who are contemplating using this facility, you can utilize your money much more efficiently else where. 160.00 dollars is too much to pay for use of a facility which offers nothing except the space and crappy service!
