We are a family owned and operated ranch but I am the stay at home chief bottle washer. We have an alpaca ranch here in Redding, Ca., 27 alpacas reside here along side with 3 kids, 2 cats/dogs and a flock of wild turkeys!
We shear our alpacas once a year, process the fiber, which is then made into handknitted/felted blankets, shawls, purses, hats, scarves etc. I also make some unusual jewelry from alpaca fiber it is one of the best sellers here at the ranch, simply stunning and unusual!
We also sell breedings AND alpacas to qualified buyers, these animals are not just livestock, they are a strong part of our lives, each with individual personalities and we treat them with the respect and care they deserve which includes anyone interested in purchasing our alpacas. As a buyer you will in turn get an animal that is halter and touch trained, that is in excellent health and of the best bloodlines, also you will get our support for as long as you need mentoring.Questions?
