Who to See for Back Issues?

We're in HEB area and need a good doctor. My husband has a ruptured disk and the doctor he sees only offers pain management (in his own clinic). We'd like more options. Anyone know of a good back doctor? Can be anywhere in N Texas. Don't mind driving for good medical care. Thanks.

What can I do next?

I am going to have to say it again...SpineTeam Texas in Southlake. The whole team is awesome and they are beyond experts. They listen and know what they are doing! They are also great with pain management. They don't judge and aren't like the regular doctors that just assume everyone that comes through asking for pain meds are addicts. They understand and will help!!! Worth the drive for sure! I had to go to my regular doctor and got a referal for the insurance to cover them. :) Good luck and if you husband starts here, he will start to feel better and be able to come off pain meds! =)

My husband had surgery with Dr Rothbart in Southlake with the Spine Team. Our experience was great and Dr Rothbart is one of the best!

It's in West Plano, but I've gone to Dr. Dauber at Plano Orthopedic Sports and Medicine and Spine Center. I understand your husband's pain, no pun intended, as I have 2 hierniated disks. (don't know spelling of that) He has helped me manage them without surgery for 8 years now and it great. All of the doctors there are wonderful. Best of luck.
