I just moved to Chandler and think I'm pregnant (total freak out!). What is the best hospital to deliver at in the area (in your opinion)? Which ones have private post-partum rooms? And, do you have a favorite ob/gyn? I have to do c-section so if you know of any dr's that stand out in that area I'd love to hear it! Also,Does anyone have an ob/gyn that has the nicer reclining examination chairs instead of the old tables with stir-ups? Thanks so much mamas, I'm really anxious to get to a Dr. and researching all this seems to take too long!
Dr. Kells is amazing I ended up having an emergency c-section and he was fantastic not to mention the million check ups always went great. He has an excellent bedside manner. He delivers at bother Chandler Regional and Mercy Gilbert. I delivered at Chandler and had a great experience.

I am sorry I have no idea about the hospital, but how if you go to public library. There will be many moms there and you can ask them.
Why do you have to do c-section? I also had csection, and some other moms who experienced both said that csection has longer recovery. And will be very expensive in US, too.
I know a woman though, she said she has the great,,patient and affordable midwife. She just give birth this early year and it costs her $2,000.
If you want have a check up with midwife, I can ask my friend the number.
Anyway, I hope you can get settled here and love the new home.

I live in Chandler and have 4 children. I have delivered at Banner Desert, Banner Phoenix and Mercy Gilbert hospitals. Mercy Gilbert was by far my favorite labor and delivery experience. The two Banner hospitals I delivered at had Chidlrens Hospitals onsite though which was important since I delivered prematurely with those babies. I strongly recommend signing up for the birthing center tours at the hospitals you are considering.
My favorite ob was actually with a midwife practice. His name is Dr. Grayson Guzman and he is absolutely wonderful. You can find out information on his practice at www.momdocmidwives.com.
I love Dr. Steven Eddy. His office is located across from Chandler Hospital. I have been seeing him for almost 15 years. He is a smart, caring physician and his staff is always so friendly. ###-###-####
