My 9 month old daughter just started eating finger foods. Can you provide some suggestions on what types of finger foods to give to her?

What can I do next?

I feed my 9 month old right off my plate these days. She only has 3 teeth but is a good chewer. She eats shredded chicken, german sausage, hamburger meat, fish, avacado, cheese, goldfish, yogurt, crackers, bread whole grain is easier to eat than white which mushes up, potatoes, sweet potato fries, mac-n-cheese, gerber pasta pick-ups, asparagus, green beans, squash, soft carrots, toast broiled with cheese on top, omelets, cut up lunch meat-I heat it first, black beans, rice, spaghetti noodles, egg plant breaded with italian bread crumbs and baked, peaches, kiwi, plum, apple cut thin, bananas, cheerios. I'm sure there's more...
Just make sure you cut it into tiny pieces and I think with eggs you are supposed to wait until one year for the white part.
I love this age!

Here is a great list:

I gave my son a lot of what is on that list as well as these: shredded cheese, avacado, soft ground hamburger meat, boiled eggs, saltines crackers.

My 7 month old eats bananas, cheerios, raisins, Gerber "puffs" , meat sticks, peaches, watermelon, etc. She has 6 teeth and chews well so I've been adding new things for the last couple of weeks. She won't even eat baby food anymore. We usually give her bites of what we're eating as well. Good luck! It's about to get messy!
