I just moved to Valley Park, and would like to know which area hospitals are the best in the area.

What can I do next?

It would depend on what you need a hospital for. We usually go to Missouri Baptist. My friend is there right now and she is receiving excellent care.

I like St. John's. I had both of my kids there and they were great..very friendly and helpful. My son had surgery at Children's hospital and they were wonderful.

Missouri Baptist is a good hospital for most urgent and chronic conditions (as well as having a superb cardiopulmonary program, good Labor and Delivery unit). They have Washington University physicians there and pediatricians from Children's Hospital (downtown)rotate there to treat children in the pediatric ER.
Located at 270 and 40 on Ballas Rd.

I live in Fenton, and I drove all the way down to Children's when my lttle one was sick twice last year...I also did St. Anthony's, when she needed stiches in her finger. But I think that if/when we have to go back, I would do Mo Bastist. They have a pedatric area and they have some sort of short timing thing for certain times of the day...JMO
