Sorry, Im bored and stuck in the house. I knew my husband was leaving the office, which is 45 min away, so I called him to see what he wanted to do for dinner. I dont have the two bigger kids today, so I thought maybe we could get out and get something to eat. He said "uh I just stopped to get myself some pizza". Really jerk? Im stuck in the house all day and by the time you get home it will be dinner time. Dont worry about me!! Buttface. Are your husbands rude too? :)

What can I do next?

First of all call "butt face" back and tell him to also bring you something to eat.. Also remind him next weekend is fathers day and buttfaces will regret their rudeness, because pay back is hell.

To vent, my husband is sitting behind me watching tv and even though we have been married 30 years and I have asked, told and demanded, he is CLIPPING HIS DAMN TOE NAILS in the LIVING room! Yuck.. Each clip make me want to poke him in the eye!

I love him, I love him, I love him.. But he can get on my last damn nerve!

You know what my darling buttface (lol) cannot help but say every time I happen to bend down near him to pick something up etc? The perennial 'while you're down there...'. Every. Single. Time.

my buttface will also clip his nails in the living room like Laurie's, and then leave them there on the hard wood floor. My toddler once stepped on a shred of toenail and complained it hurt. :P My buttface is similar to Abby's in the sense that he will pick on me and considers that flirting or being romantic. Pinching me so it hurts is NOT romantic! Farting and wafting it my way is NOT romantic! While driving one time, he locked the windows so I could not roll them down then let out a big fart. I couldn't roll down my window for fresh air. Talk about 'buttface!'

I am sitting here laughing so hard I could pee my pants :) lol just kidding :) Ok, I can't stand it when every other day my hubby will go to the store on the way home and get a gallon of his own favorite ice cream, but nothing for me or the kids!!!! Ok and no matter how many times I ask if he could get something for us too, he forgets!

The thing that gets me the most is the disgusting habit of cutting toenails on the couch!!!! Then when I lay down the next day, I find them digging into my hair or back on the couch! EWWWW! I can't stand it that he doesn't clean them up!

The dishes get left on the coffee table and the computer...never to the sink or the dishwasher. He tells my kids to bring them to me :)

I love him with all my heart, but sometimes he can do some ugly things!

Lets see I get the "while your down there comment" alot when I bend over along with the ocassional "plumbes crack" comment. If I get angry he will do whatever it take to keep the anger going he says "well you are already angry and there is no making you happy so I am going to have fun!" He will go to the store (very little) and get a treat for himself but will never buy one for me also. Oh the lists goes on! LOL Oh and my least favorite is he will go to cop a feel of the ladies in bed when I am laying on my belly and it never, EVER fails he will pinch my nipples betwee his fingernails and the bed :(

My ex peeled the skin off the bottom of his foot and would leave it on the arm rest of the couch. Nasty.
He farted all the time even in bed.
He'd go out after work and not tell me.
I could sit here all night, but those are the worst.

You Molly and several of you other ladies have me laughing out loud sitting here all alone in my bedroom on my computer chortling like a child! hahahaha!
My husband is a true sweetie but even true sweeties have a buttface side to them. Let's see. Is it normal to lift up your freaking leg when you are going to fart and then say "aah" after you did it? Did you really need to lift your leg up to PASS GAS??
There are absolutely some other ones but since my husband does do alot of nice things for me I can't think of them right now. But believe me he has done VERY similar things as you said.
I love all these posts!!

It doesn't matter how nicely or not so nicely I ask or demand, my "buttface" will not rinse his dishes. He just sets them on the counter and is totally oblivious :)

Your sense of humor is awesome! The other night I was trying to get our 7 month old to sleep like I have every other night for 7 months. But he's teething now and I was having a struggle so I asked his dad to help. I figured once in a while he can tear himself away from his videogames to help with his children. He gave it the old college try for about 10 minutes and then gave him back to me and said he didn't know what to do and he disappeared. I found him playing games again. Talk about a buttface. I took his screaming boy to him and told him not to worry about it.. I have got this..stupidhead

Yup, been there done that. My "buttface" also doesn't rinse his dishes or excuse himself when passing various bodiliy gases, lol. (of course he thinks it's funny.) Sometimes men just don't think. We are natural caregivers, they have to learn it. I'm sure there are things we do that drive them nuts too! lol

Wow - what an eye-opener this is! Just this morning, I asked my husband for the millionth time to PLEASE not put the dirty egg-y spatula on the bare counter. I should explain that I do ALL the grocery shopping and ALL the dinner cooking. He does breakfast for my daughter every day and on Sundays, he usually makes all three of us eggs and toast. The night before, I set the table, ready the coffee maker, take out a frying pan and LINE MY COUNTERS WITH WAXED PAPER SO HE WON'T MAKE A COMPLETE MESS WITH THE DIRTY SPATULA. Never fails, he finds the 6 inches of the counter that's not covered and he puts the spatula THERE. I should mention that I have an aversion to the smell of dried raw eggs and he knows I'm being completely irrational about it, but it really does make me GAG. We did have a laugh about it this morning. I simply turned to my daughter and said - you know why Daddy can't remember to put the dirty spatula on the waxed paper? No, why? Cause he's retarded (yes, I used that terrible pollitically incorrect wording for the first time in my life). I just couldn't stand it anymore.

Having read everyone else's responses, I suppose I should be grateful (and I am) that my husband leaves the room to pass gas, chews with his mouth closed, flosses in private and cleans up his toenail clippings. Wow, glad I just woke him up for sex.

haha! I love how you wrote that. So sweet and loving! hehe!

I think guys tend to be thoughtless more than rude (at least w/my hubby). Things just don't always cross their mind. Though, my hubby would have thought of me in that instance!

Years ago I could come up with rude things my hubby does, but I can't really think of any right now. So they can be taught!

This post is hilarious. My hubby isn't rude as much as he is crude. My biggest complaint is peeing outside - mainly in our driveway. Oh no, he can't wait 15 seconds to go inside and use the toilet. He has to drop the drawers right when he opens the truck door and do it in the driveway.

He also stashes stuff under the couch "to keep it away from the kids," but then he forgets about it. I'll find dirty socks and dirty diapers, used sippy cups, all sorts of nastiness under the couch. No fun.

I agree we women need to be straightforward with our men - they don't always pick up on clues and hints very well. :)

My husband has pulled that same one on me-with pizza..He has not pulled it again though :). Yes my husband does many rude things at times. I especially hate the fact that he refuses to chew with his mouth closed. He can't do it. Plus the fact that he doesn't chew his food properly, so he always gets these hiccup things right after( and it's quite loud). I'm constantly bugging him about it, because honestly it's not healthy. Still, to no avail he has to do this. My son has better table manners!!Oh, yes, and I second or third the snorers..Freaking loud.. Ugh, husbands!!

Yeh, that's why I divorced him ! Get rid of the bum !!! Why would you want to stay married to a jerk like that ? Let me tell you, I am so Grateful I am now single and do not have to deal with some idiot husband ever again - don't miss it for a second, and I will never get married again (biggest mistake of my life). Don't stick around with an inconsiderate buffoon, kick him to the curb with his pizza....who needs that ?

My husband has done a similar thing with eating prior to coming home, and then he has the audacity to complain that I don't always have dinner ready for him when he comes home!

My biggest issue with him is that he will leave his dirty whatevers lying around in the bedroom. Socks, drawers, whatever -- even at times right next to (but actually not IN -- wha???) the hamper. Oh, why??

Oh my goodness ladies - I have tears rolling down my face right now! And, here I thought I had the only guy in the universe who farts and gets the biggest kick out of it. I swear he has to make the most obnoxious fart everytime! My husband doesn't clip his toenails, he picks them. He'll sit on the couch while we're watching tv and picks them until one of his toes start to bleed. Really??? He even taught our kids how to give dutch ovens. Grrrr...husbands!!! (But ladies, thank you so much for the laughs!!)

He piles all of the dishes in the sink and expects to be congratulated for cleaning the kitchen - do ya think you could open the diswasher! And to top it off - when I travel he has to call me to find out how to wash his clothes.

In all fairness - I have to call him to find out where the vacuum cleaner is!

Men can be so thoughtless! Many years ago while living in Germany with my GI husband, his mother had sent a package of Christmas cookies which was delivered to him at mail call on base. Instead of saving even ONE for me, he opened the package & he & his buddies ate them ALL. Then he brought the empty package with the Christmas paper still attached to our apartment & TOLD me about it!!! I could have cried. I would have liked a homemade Christmas cookie, too! And doing something similar back to them doesn't help one bit. So...yes, your husband was a jerk to stop for pizza & not even think about you. But he's probably not ALWAYS a jerk, so this is one loss, but it won't be that way forever. And it's our job to let them know that there's a better way to "make Mama happy" ... 'cause when Mama ain't happy, NO ONE's happy! In your own way...without being bitchy....help him to learn -.Happy Wife, Happy Life!!!
