During an interview, you have to really listen to what they are saying and what they are asking to really know what they are looking for in an employee. You should not be dishonest with your answers, but you should word your answers carefully. Generally, an employer wants to know that you are committed to making the job a priority in your life (so don't talk TOO much about your baby), that you are reliable, and that you are qualified for the job. If you lack experience, pump up your other qualities, like that you get along well with others, have a positive attitude, you are a fast learner, etc. ALWAYS end the interview finding out the next step, like ask when they will be making their decision or when you can expect to hear from them. If it will be a few days, follow up with a thank-you-for-giving-me-the-opportunity-to-meet-with-you/looking-forward-to-hearing-from-you letter. Since you are young, you need to do everything you can to come across a being professional. And be prepared with a good answer to the "what are your weaknesses/areas that need improvement" question. The trick to that one is to put a positive spin on it-- like say you like to get involved so you end up volunteering to be on a lot of committees.
