Does anyone out there know what day and time Trick-or-Treating is in Plano, Tx. We just moved here a little over a month ago and have gone on the internet and can only find malls and churches. We are looking to go over by our kids school....WELLS Elementary, but just need to know the date and time....Please help a mom out.....Thanks!!!
Trick or treating actually occurs on Halloween, usually starts at dusk. But many towns, churches, neighborhoods and other organizations schedule events on other days (the outlet center in Allen does it).
I lived in PA for a couple of years and it was so strange how the towns/cities scheduled trick or treating on different days . . . sounds like you come from an area that does the same thing.
Most kids start going out just as it's getting dark. It's always on Halloween night.
Last year my friends and our kids went to a neighborhood trick-or-treating event....
It was HUGE and so much fun....there was a haunted house, music, free popcorn and almost every house participated.....
It's somewhere by Caravan Drive.....(Independence and Legacy....across from Kroger).....
We will definitely go there again !!!!

They decorated their house like crazy.....there is no single spot empty....soooooooo cool.....worth seeing !!!
By the way....my son goes to Wells too.....
Kids in our neighborhood start at 6:30pm (younger kids) and older kids up too 10pm.
There is an event going on at Kroger on October 28th from 4pm-8pm for younger kids at Independence @ Legacy (NE corner).
Malls usually have times posted at the mall and some online.
My neighborhood kiddos start coming as soon as it begins to get a little dark. I routinely have kiddos until 9:30-10.
It is a party on my block, we have a teen band playing music, everyone is outside and involved then when the kiddos go in, we have an adult party!!
