I don't really have a response, but I just wanted to say "Welcome to Texas!" It looks like we live in the same general area. I also live in SW Dallas, near Cedar Hill, Grand Prairie and Duncanville. :)

I went to Joann's craft store and got a toybox that was just wood and my daughter (whose 2)and I painted it and decorated it. It was alot of fun and she was proud of herself for making it. I think I payed like $25 or $30 for the box and just used some house paint we had around the house, we also bought stencils and stuff like that.

i like to use the rubber-maid storage boxes, minus the lids...that way my son can just put his things in there and get them out without the worry of the lid slamming on his little fingers, or him climbing in there and shutting the lid. they're nice for us, and sometimes he empties them out and he has a nice little boat or car, or whatever he wants it to be. i got mine at wal-mart.
