Any ideas on a good gift for grandma from the grandkids to say thank you? My mother (aka grandma) is in her mid fourties and on the go constantly and I am trying to think of something my kids can get her to say thank you that would mean something special. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I am a grandma in my 40's on the go all the time. I love the idea below of a calander with the kids either photos or artwork they have done. I think it would be great to have that especially if dates and things were written in when it was given to me. (things the kids have coming up such as choir stuff or ballet etc....)

we had my son make a stepping stone for my parent's backyard. You can get a kit at Michaels and have your boys write their names in the stone and decorate it with colorful pebbles, it is a gift we plan to add to each year to have a cute stone walkway created by their grandkids.good luck

Hi
Around Mother's Day certain stores have grandma T-shirts that are really cute, all kinds of designs and and sizes.
You can also go to a T-shirt shop and ask them to make a personalized shirt. I did that for my grandfather 9 years ago and he is still wearing it proudly.
Like for example if you child's name is Peter, have the shirt say John's Grandma, etc.
I alos used to order personalized knick knack at www.clarkcolor.com. Easy online access and quick service.

My Mom loves the bag from Walmart we had made with the grandkids pictures! She has everything in there from her pool stuff in the summer to her lunches and magazines the rest of the year. She also loves to brag to everyone who comments on the bag that it is her grandkids! lol

This year since she is traveling more I am going to do the pillowcase with the pictures of the kids on there for Christmas. She always brings her own pillows so this will be a nice way for her to snuggle with them when they are not there! Corny maybe but I know she will love it!

Ohhhhhhhhh, isnt Grandparents Day coming up?!?!? Maybe I will do it for that!

I can not wait to see other peoples responses for this one too! Blessings to you and yours!

how about a personalized picture frame with pic of grandma and the boys? Those wood frames are inexpensive and you can paint them any color! Or framed artwork (same concept with the frame) How about a relaxing CD, book, and body lotion?

Good luck!

That is very nice. How about a photo book from shutterfly or a calender for next year.

I got my parents & in-laws computer mouse pads with the kids' pictures all over them. They went crazy over them!! I included their other grandkids as well so no one was left out. You can do that with mugs and other cool things. A while back I got one of those plastic commuter mugs & put in pics of the kids for my mil, she just loved it, though she won't use it for fear of wrecking it. whatever! lol.

I think I've seen laminated cards that hang from key rings like those discount cards from stores, so the proud GPs can share pics wherever they go.

Have fun!

How about just having them make a card for them or take a picture of the 2 boys and make something fun on Fotoshop.
