I'm sick of finding my makeup on my baby's clothes. Does anyone have any suggestions on foundation and powder that will not rub off? I need a medium coverage foundation. I know there are several brands out there, but I don't know which one is better.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks, J.

Rather then foundations, why not try some of the self tanning creams and then you won't need foundation, maybe just a dusting of face powder if you're going out.
The new tanning creams are much better then they used to be, no more orange look.

I'd love to let you try Mary Kay! I don't wear foundation very often but have not heard of people having trouble with it rubbing off. Mary Kay is a great product...I love the cleanser, moisturizer, and microdermabrasion that I use. If you look at www.marykay.com you can get an idea of the shades available. There is also a 100% guarantee, meaning that if you don't like what you try or it's the wrong shade, you can return it for a full refund or exchange it for something else. Let me know if you want to give it a try! My e-mail address is ____@____.com

Hey J.,
I have been a long time user of BeautiControl make up. It is the best in my book!! I hate the feeling of being able to "feel" make up on my face and was always scared for it to rub off too. When I found this stuff I fell in love. I forget I have it on, and have never found it on my son's (or husband's) clothes and I love on them both all the time :O) I use the Perfecting Wet/Dry foundation, but my friend uses the Secret Agent liquid and she said it is great too. I just recently signed up to be a consultant just to get a discount on my own products!! You can check out my BeautiPage and order if you want to try the product. Hope it helps out. Please let me know if you have any questions. Colors are sometimes hard to pick on the web, so if you'r not sure and are in the Robertson County area I'd be glad to bring my color selector by and help you find the right one. Just email me at ____@____.com

**once on the site, click "shop now" and the foundations are under the "color" option along the left side menu.

You should try Bare Minerals!! you can get it at Sephora in the Collierville Mall. you can try it on there before you buy it. It is the only thing I have found for my very oily skin that stays on and doesnt rub off!!

I wear Loreal mineral powder foundation. It's terrific. YOu only need the one to act as both foundation and powder and I've never had it rub off on Brennan's clothes or body and it's really lightweight. It also has an SPF 19 which I love. Hope this helps.

Hi J.

Have you tried any of the mineral powder makeups out there? I am not much of a makeup wearer for that very reason...but my sister got some of the Bare Minerals and let me wear it. I really liked it...didn't even feel like I was wearing make up. Loreal Makes their brand now that is sold in Walgreens and WalMart. When I do use makeup, that is what I choose to wear.
I also saw someone who uses Mereal Norman...I used to wear that as well. I really liked it. (that was before kids when I had time to put it on :))

good luck
J.

Actually Avon carries a foundation just came out this year, it's called Perfect Wear Extralasting foundation. It goes on very smoothe for a beautiful look, doesn't feel oily like outher foundations and doesn't rub off on clothes. It is a 8-12 hr. wear foundation. That is what i use and i love it. If you would like to sample it just let me know I am a rep.

J.,

I am a purchasing and transportation manager for a company here in Chattanooga. I have to wear make up every day due to my posiiton and all meetings I have. I also have a 6 year old that when she and I would play when I get home from work, my makeup would rub off on her clothes too. I usually use cover girl. I am also in my mid 40's and I think menopause is starting as I am having the hot flashes. So I sweat so bad sometimes. I went to Merle Norman for a make over last week. Great makeup but expensive. However, it was a hot day, mid 90's and I had several other errands to run after that. I forgot I was wearing the makeup because I usually don't wear makeup on weekends. So I was mopping my forehead and face off constantly. After a few times, I realized that I still had the makeup on and I looked at the towel I was using. There was NO MAKEUP ON IT!!! I was shocked! I went back that day and paid the extra money for the foundation and powder. I am just starting with that as I can't afford the whole package that they put on me. From what the girl there told me, what I bought should last me 3-4 months with only using it 5 days a week. You could try them, IF you can afford them. That is the difficult part.

My hairdresser recommends Clinque. I will be trying them in a few months as I know they are a little cheaper. Good luck. I hope you find something that you like and works for you.

I hope you have already found a foundation that works for you. Some words of advice. Use a good cleanser and moisturizer. Do not put on foundation without a layer of moisturizer. This will help hold your makeup in place. I would need to know your skin type to know whick foundation would be best for you. Oily or combination skin usually does well with Mary Kay's mineral powder foundation. Dry skin does better with cream to powder or liquid foundation with a light powder on top. There are several options. Another tip is to apply a small amount, let it dry, and then apply a second layer. This seems to eliminate the rub off at least with Mary Kay products. I would be happy to help you more, if you are still having this problem. e-mail me at ____@____.com. Thanks. N.
