Does anyone have any suggestions on hanging clothes up. I buy plastic hangers and my kids break them all the time, not on purpose. I need to find a cheaper way to hang up clothes.

What can I do next?

I've heard that Walmart carries plastic hangers that fold or clapse when pulled on. I think it was invented for kids that pull on clothes that are hung up. Hope this helps.

We had the same problem, but realized that the clothes pole in my daughters closet was too high up so she yanked the clothes off and broke the platic hanger. We gave her a stool to use and then we hung another pole lower and put jeans down low. I am not sure if that is your situation, but it helped us except when she steps on the hangers because they are in the floor. That is another issue, she is 13 yrs old. I hope this helps.

I make the cashiers give me the hangers that the new clothing items are hanging on. If you just ask, 90% of the time they say "no problem!" I haven't had to buy any kid hangers since Izzy was born!

IKEA has good wooden hangers and they are cheaper than anywhere else that I know. I am slowly changing over. I also watch for sales on wooden hangers.
