Seeking Rush Orthopedist

Does anyone know of a orthopedic doctor through Rush Medical Center that specializes in back/tailbone pain. Ever since I delivered my son over two years ago, I cannot sit for more than 20 minutes without being in pain. I have been to my doctor, seen a chiropractor and practice yoga and it still doesn't seem to get better. Anyone else ever experience this? I will take any advice. Thank you.

Hi Catherine,
Oh gosh, that's awful! I can't even imagine what you must be going thru. I think you agree that having surgery should be a last resort, but you must be at your wits end.

I see a medical intutitve at 1 East Superior, downtown. His name is Kurt Hill. Many people go to him as a last resort when they can't figure out what's causing their pain. He will likely be able to tell you what's wrong and maybe able to help relieve your pain with body work. Its well worth the $165 he charges for an hour long session. A woman recently saw him who had been thru thousands of dollars of tests, no answers. She had headaches, dizziness and a funny taste in her mouth. He told her she had to much formaldihyde in her system from wearing clothes that were dry cleaned. She had a blood test done and confirmed that's what the problem was! This is just one example of his work. I think he can help you. His number is ###-###-####. Sara schedules appts for him. Tell her B. Babcock sent you.

Let me know what happens!!!

I agree with Jasmine. Dr. Sheila Dugan is great! If she refers you to PT, there is a great women's health PT at Rush, Maureen Brennan. Good luck!

My son saw 2 different specialists for 2 separate injuries through Midwest Orthopedics and they were excellent. They include a number of doctors who specialize.
BTW have you tried a chiropractor yet?
