Seeking Plastic to Cover Clothes

This might be an unusual request. But, we are seeking a way to cover our clothes. We are moving and I just don't want to dump my clothes into a box. I would really like to put the clothes in those plastic things that you see in stores that hold blankets that are for sale. If anyone has any of this, I would be most grateful to have some. Also, if anyone has a good idea of how to store clothes other than putting them in a box or storage container...some way that the bugs can't get to them, I would welcome any ideas.

What can I do next?

We shipped numerous boxes of clothes to NY for my daughter and we put a trash bag in each box & filled the trash bag with her clothes to prevent them from getting wet. If you are worried about bugs, you can add some moth balls to the box.

My cousin gives me the clothes that her kids have outgrown. Since her kids are older than my kids, my kids aren't big enough to wear them yet so I store the clothes in cardboard boxes in my garage. I line the boxes with those big black garbage bags (like Hefty Cinch Sack)and put the clothes in bag. I tie the top of the bag really good in order to keep the bugs and moisture out. Then I use packing tape to seal the box. The reason I use the cardboard boxes at all is because they are easier to stack and label and they don't rip as easily as the plastic bag.

how about those giant ziploc bags? you can get them at target or walmart -- the xxl size is 18 gallons, which is the same capacity as one of those large rubbermaid storage containers. i think they are around $5 for 3 bags.

I've used the Space bags for clothes, blankets, etc. They are great and come in a variety of sizes. You can get them just about anywhere like Walmart, Target, Kohl's, etc.
