Seeking Great Post-partum Doula in La Brea/Fairfax Area

I LOVED our post partum doula so much. Her name is Glyol Pannbecci and her number is ###-###-####. She taught me so much (i was clueless also) and was so loving and patient. She took wonderful care of me and the baby - cooked for me, took our dogs for walks, taught me how to change, bathe, nurse the baby. We now have a beautiful, happy, healthy 1 year old and i attribute a lot of that to the week she spent with us. If you meet with her, tell her Jen and Pete referred you (we had a very nice relationship.) And in terms of questions, just tell her what is important to you (helping to figure out sleep schedule, learning to breast feed, helping your husband figure it all out... a lot of doulas ignore the dads...etc.) But the most important thing, i think, is that you feel a connection with whoever it is. I would highly recommend Brandi Rouse. She is a postpartum doula as well as a sleep consultant. She is an expert! She helped us get on a good schedule and really helped us understand our baby's needs. We happened upon her after we hired a doula but used her for sleep training. We brought her in when our baby was 7 weeks old. Our daughter is now 14 1/2 months and is the best sleeper! We have a great schedule that works for her based on her needs. If I am correct I wanted to let you know that I would be interested in speaking/meeting with you. A little about me... I am from England and have spent the last 20 years working and caring for children and newborns. I can help and support you through the first few weeks following your baby's birth, I assist in the overnight care of newborns and will help establish good feed and sleep patterns so a well balanced and manageable routine can be set up.
