I'm looking for an awesome doctor for my almost 2 year old son. Needs to be close to us. We live in Trophy Club, I work in Southlake, and his daycare is in Grapevine.

What can I do next?

We use Dr. Michael McCoy in Grapevine. He is awesome! He just moved his office to a location near Baylor Grapevine so he would be convenient from home, work or daycare for you. His number is ###-###-####.

Dr. Roger Knapp is on Southlake Boulevard - -his partner (like business not in "domestic" LOL) is Dr. Nichols -- they're both great and I've seen them both but Dr. Knapp is my primary. He's fantastic... he was recommended to me and I continue to recommend him...

We have Dr. Eric Hopkins and have really loved him, however not sure if he is taking new patients. He made time to come over to the NICU to visit when my twin babies were there, and in the past he was even kind enough to let me call him at home on a weekend to go over a laundry list of concerns/questions I had at our 18 month check up. (It was hard talking in the office with my two screaming kiddos). He is a younger doctor with young kids of his own which I like. He does talk quickly, but always makes time to talk to you about any questions you may have. He is located in Grapevine very close to intersection of North NW Hwy and 114. He just moved into a brand new office space and it is nice.

My daughter sees Dr. Nichols in Southlake. I really like his bedside manner and his office staff is very nice and helpful. He is part of the Cook Children's network, which is great for getting help after hours. We lived in Trophy Club when we started going to Dr. Nichols and I think it is less than a 10 minute drive.

Dr. David Johnson at Southlake Family ###-###-#### is the only ped my youngest will see. He is now 8 years old, Dr Johnson caught a rare birth defect and was so compassionate through the entire thing. He still will ask not only how Tyler is doing but how I am doing. The nurses and staff are great!

There are several great pedi's over here but my favorites are Dr Mike McCoy and Dr Vanita Shori and her partner Dr Hopkins. They are all great, Dr McCoy uses Dallas Childrens for emergencies and Dr's Shori and Hopkins are part of the Cook Childrens Network. They have a new office on Northwest Hwy and they are fabulous and caring as well as young and knowledgeable.
I have worked with all of them and have a great deal of respect for them, and the people I refer have all really loved them.
