hey everyone, we just went apple picking and i'm in need of some good apple recipes. i'm hoping to find an apple pie recipe and apple crisp, but i'll take anything. i have a 1/2 bushel of fuji apples. thanks for any possibilities!

A friend of mine just delivered me a huge basket of fresh apples from their farm and I made 15 apple pies, I got raves from everyone. I would be happy to e-mail the recipe to you if you are interested ____@____.com of a lot of typing or I would just write it out here.
this is an easy and yummy pie!
deep dish apple pie with its own crust
sliced apples
1 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp cinnamon
3/4 cup melted butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg beaten
1 cup flour
1/2 cup pecans or walnuts (chopped)
1.fill a 9"pie pan with crust bottom 3/4 full of sliced apples
2.combime 1tbsp sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over apples
3. combine rest of ingredients and pour over apples
4. keep topping 2" from edge of pie pan
5. bake at 350 degrees for 1 hr
also i add caramel sauce over the apples before adding the topping it makes it extra gooey
Actually I noticed an apple recipe in the Jewel/Osco ad for last week -- it's like an apple crisp, one of the easiest things I've ever made and when I brought it to work, it was eaten up quickly. If you can't find the Jewel ad, let me know and I'll write it down, it's really easy, just a few things.
Nana's Apple Cake from Tastefully Simple is AWESOME. Uses 2 cups of chopped apples and everyone that tries it loves it.
