Seeking a Pediatrician!

Hay.. I love Dr. Moskowitz. He is with the Pediatric Center in New Providence-- only a mile or two from Summit... There are about 5 or 6 doctors.. they have walk ins in the a.m. from 8:30 to 9:30 and again in the afternoon..i think about 1 to 2. They are opened every day of the week. on Sat. for emergencies.. you call and they are usually there from 8:30 or 9 till 11... and the same with Sundays.. I like that they really take the time.. They are all wonderful.... no matter which dr. you get. I love them all and so do my kids. Good luck!!!!

I agree with the Pediatric Group with Dr. Rabinowitz & Owens. They have been my pediatricians since my kids were born and my son is 17 years old now.

Our pediatrician is in Summit and was recommended to me when we moved here last year, I LOVE her. She is warm, friendly, never seems to be in a rush (she is a solo practicioner), and knowledgeable. Her name is Dr. Cora Cerdena and she operates out of the summit medical building (attached to the hospital). I don't have her number offhand, but if you can't find it in the book or online, let me know and I can get it for you.
I have yet to see a GP here (fortunately), so let me know if you find a good one.

Dr. Avondoglio, Dr. Cambria and Dr. Thomas of the Summit Medical Group are awesome. Their office is in the MAC building adjacent to Overlook hospital. You can get appointments when you need them. Even if one Dr. is your primary the others know you and your children. The nurses are friendly and knowledgable. If you need evening or weekend appointments, their satellite office in Berkeley Hieghts in convenient. The phone number is ###-###-####. They welcome new patient interviews. Dr. A was my pediatrician when I moved to the area 20 something years ago and he is my kids pediatrician now. Dr. Cambria is around my age and she's wonderful. Give them a call... you won't regret it! Welcome to the neighborhood! It's a fantastic place to live!

I have been taking my kids to Touchpoint Pediatrics for the past 3 years and we love it as well for all the other reasons mentioned and also the fact that the staff is very friendly. Good Luck!!

I highly recommend Touchpoint Pediatrics. Dr. Jennifer Shaw runs the practice and she is amazing. There are also 2 other (female, if it matters) doctors in the practice and a nurse practioner. I have found them to be extremely responsive with phone inquiries and have never had a problem getting in for a sick visit.
