Searching for In-home Child Care in Chicago

hi T. my name is M. im a sahm with two great boys 21months and 5months, was interested in talking with you about the position you need. Im currently working for a mom that like you works long hours. and i don't mind them because my husband works late hours aswell. My only conflict with her now is that her house is to small and my son has no room to play or run around in. and my 5month old will be crawling soon and again there is no room....i asked her to allow me to watch her son from my home and because she comes home for lunch and her mom lives close to her house she preferres that i stay at her house. So i let her know that i would be looking for another family to work for because i can't have isaiah is a small room for so many hours. Taking care of three kids is not a proble for my (ive been doing great with my current family) my boys are very easy going and do request alot of attention. while on the other hand Payton does(the little boy ia take care of) so it works out. I love caring for kids i like that fact that my boys would have somebody els to paly wit h(grow up with) i live on the northwest side of chicago in a great area (harlem /belmont) very close ot the park. i have alot of space for the kids and thats why i would preferre to take care of the kids at my home. if this is something that you would be interested in please call or email me ###-###-#### ____@____.com

We advertised in the Tribune 3 years ago and got probably 100 responses!. The problem becomes figuring out a system to weed through applicants so you don't meet with everyone. A phone interview of some kind. We ended up with a great person. (Ask for references and call them).

I have a woman who runs a great in-home daycare. Her name is Jeanette and her business is The Little People Place ###-###-#### I'm not sure about the late hours. But she may also be able to refer you to other in home child care

Three things:
1. www.sitterycity.com It's $39.95 but you get a lot of information on a lot of people. I found several great nannies on this site.
2. Craig's list Chicago- I can't remember the exact address but you can easily find it. It's free- you just list what you are looking for.
3. www.secondcitynanny.com It's also free.
