Hi Moms!

We are relocating to the Cherry Hill area and I was hoping I could get some feedback on what areas to look at for a home. We don't know anyone there so any advice would be very helpful!!

What can I do next?

HI,
If you need an excellent Real Estate agent, my dad works in Collingswood, NJ at Mainstreet Realty. He sells homes all over that area. He is a very honest and nice person.

Hi Stacy,
There are so many great places in the Cherry Hill area. I have lived here all my life. Marlton, Mt. Laurel, Maple Shade, Collingswood, Haddon Hights, Haddon Township, Haddonfield, Moorsetown, and the list goes on. It really depends on what you want in a home and neighborhood and school system. Keep in mind, The closer you get to Camden, the less desirible the areas are.

Hi S.!

Give us more to go on...what kind of house? Cherry Hill is so big! There are so many nice areas! I live on the border of Cherry Hill, Maple Shade and Pennsauken. Wexford Leas is nice development on the East side of Cherry Hill. That area has nice parks and 2 swimclubs. Swimclubs are big in the summer in south jersey for young families.

Just wanted to suggest that after you move, there are some fun Junior Woman's Clubs in the area that incorporates new friends, playgroups, volunteerism, etc. Haddonfield, Collingswood, and Merchantville have Jr Woman's Clubs for young women. Email ____@____.com for more info or see www.jerseyjuniors.com for other jersey woman's clubs. Best wishes!

I don't know if you need to be right in Cherry Hill or just nearby so I thought I'd suggest Collingswood. It's just outside of Cherry Hill, maybe 10 minutes away. It has a main street with a WaWa, produce market, tons of restaurants, a big park, a Patco station (takes you right into Philly)-all of this within walking distance to our house. Also, has lots of community activities on the main street year round and the town is environmentally friendly as well (we're having a Green festival April 25th). Also, lots and lots of playgroups/activities for preschoolers.

Hi S.

I grew up in Cherry Hill til I was 12 & my Grandparents lived their until 2005.
Both sides are nice, East & West.
Are you looking for single fam. home?
Apts?
Condos?

I would stay away from the area by Cherry Hill Mall just because it's so very busy. The homes are older & nice so it would be most likely affordable.

Let me know what you are looking for & when you are moving.

Don't know what price range you are looking for. We live in a section called Erlton North and have been her for almost 11 years. I am a stay at home mom with a 5 year old, 4 year old and 3 month old. I love the schools and have great friends in the neighborhood. There is a great park right down the street and everything is so close. If you are more specific with your needs I could help further. Good luck.

Hi S.,

I live in Cherry Hill - it depends on your price range. But I live in development called Point of Woods, it has an elementary school within walking distance that my son attended and there is a wonderful park at the end of my street. There is a bank, nail salon, hair salon, convenience store, and several restaurants all within walking distance. And the best part the Garden State Discovery Museum (which is great for little ones) is across the street from the develpment.

Welcome to Cherry Hill!!!!!

Steph
