My daughter who is 13 has being discharging and it seems to cause her a rash. She hasn't started her menstrual so is this normal and if so what can she put on to stop the rash from coming back??
If it were my daughter and she was 13, had not started her cycle and was going through routine rashes down there.... I would have her at a Dr's office to get checked out and not rely on home remedies from the internet.
We are not Dr's but you describe what sounds like a yeast infection or it could be as simple as she gets sweaty down there and needs to air out.

Moisture can cause a rash. You could try sprinkling some baby powder into her underwear.
I've never heard of having discharge before starting a period (not that I am an expert, by any means). But if it were my daughter, I would call either her Ped or my own GYN to see if this is normal and to see if he/she has any other suggestions.
But I suspect a little baby powder would do the trick.
I would take her to the doctor ASAP!!!!
You can get some discharge before getting your period.
I was 11 when I got mine and for several months before I had a discharge every month that eventually gradually turned bloody (it gradually became my period).
It's probably close to period time for her.
She could very well have a yeast infection.
Monistat would probably clear it up.
She needs cotton underwear (no thongs) that will breathe.
If the discharge bothers her she can wear panty liners.
She'll eventually need pads and/or tampons or maybe a Diva cup or some other menstrual cup (there are several brands available now).
If she like taking baths she can add 1 cup of plain yogurt to her bath water - her skin will love it plus it will help fight yeast infections.
I agree with others that suggest getting her to a doctor.
I was 13 and had yeast infections. I was also the victim of sexual molestation. I'm not saying this is what is happening with your girl but it doesn't hurt to be safe and get her checked out.
Even though she isn't menstruating yet, she should see a gynecologist to have the rash evaluated so it can be treated properly. If there is discharge and a rash is forming, it could be a raging yeast infection. Or it could be bacterial vaginosis. A correct diagnosis is required before you will know the remedy. Don't put anything on the rash, because you can make it worse or hurt more.
Taking a bath can cause a yeast infection. She needs to have a pelvic exam to see what is causing the dishcharge. She may need an anti-yeast med or an antibiotic inside to fight it. Then some ointment to clear up the rash.
Truly sounds like a yeast infection to me. But a doc will see what it is for sure.
Have her checked by the doctor for a yeast infection.
Let a doctor help determine what is causing the rash, then you will know better how to treat it.
