This recipe is a little spicy, but great. Put in raw, frozen chicken(1 lb. boneless, skinless breasts), buffalo sauce(use half to whole bottle depending on desired spiciness level), and a half of a Ranch seasoning packet. Cook until done and then shred chicken with forks. Pile meat on rolls or buns for sandwiches or roll up in wraps with lettuce leaf. Delicious!

Crock Pot Apple Pie

This is more like a cobbler, smells great while it is cooking. Great for the holidays, because it does not take up oven space while it is cooking.

8 tart apples, peeled and sliced
1 1/4 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. Allspice
1/4 tsp. Nutmeg
3/4 cup milk
2 tablespoons butter, softened
3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. Vanilla
½ cup Bisquick baking mix
1 cup Bisquick baking mix
1/3 cup brown sugar
3 tablespoons cold butter

Toss the apples in a large bowl with the cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice. Place in lightly greased crock pot.

Combine milk, softened butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla and the ½ cup Bisquick and brown sugar. Cut in the cold butter in to the mixture until crumbly.

Sprinkle this mixture over the top of the apple mix.

Cover and cook on low 6 ~ 7 hours.

Yummy served with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
15 min prep. Serves 10.

Super quick and easy is little smokies & BBQ sauce

precook some chicken breast. Shred it or cut it into little pieces, add some BBQ sauce....& you're done! It simmers in the sauce all day & is fantastic on dollar rolls, buns, bread!

My family's absolute favorite meal is crock pot pulled pork sandwiches.
I cook a 2lb pork loin in dr pepper or root beer (root beer makes it sweeter; we prefer the dr pepper) for 5hrs or so on low. Once the meat is done (it will be whitish in color), I drain the soda, shred the pork, and add a small bottle of Sweet Baby Ray's Sweet & Spicy BBQ sauce. Cook for another 30 minutes -1 hour on low. Serve on buns...I have made it several times and my family and friends all rave about it!

if you go off what Sue H Said, you could put the raw chicken breasts in tonight...let them cook all night in about 1/2 cup of water or chicken broth.. Cook them while you sleep. In the morning the chicken will be cooked and should shred really easy...poor the BBQ sauce ontop. all done..

Roast, (beef or pork), 1 can cream of mushroom soup and 1 can of coke (not diet). Put it in the crock pot and let it cook all day. It's a great roast with gravy.

I usually don't make dinners in the crockpot, mostly beans. But the other day I threw some boneless pork loin chops in with some salsa and shredded them up. It came out really good. You can serve them with taco fixings!

You can make hot beef sandwiches. Take a beef roast, raw, put in crock pot, add about a half cup -1cup water, cook overnight, take out meat, pour drippings in a saucepan and make gravy. You can put meat in a mixing bowl and use a beater to shred beef. Combine meat and gravy back in crock pot serve over mashed potatoes, on buns, or over rice; add a veggie and you have dinner for your family. Or just take meat and buns to the office potluck.
You can make a pot roast dinner foryour family by just adding potatoes and carrots and letting it cook all day.

are you trying to bring a snack, main course, or veggie?
Snack you could do queso and chips - velveeta, ground beef, and rotel.
or little smokies - just add the little smokies and bbq sauce
meatballs - frozen meatballs and a jar of spaghetti sauce or bbq sauce.

I just made pulled pork in the crockpot for my family of 10 that was visiting-- it was HUGE hit. I bought some rolls to serve it on and everyone loved it. Here's the recipe I used: http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/BBQ-Pork-for-Sandwiches/Deta.... I followed all the suggestions of the first reviewer listed-- Ginger-- definitely get the cheap pork butt.

Good luck!
