I have the little Elmo potty that talks, I have a step for him to get on the potty, also have the potty seat that goes on toliet what else do I have to do???????

I say stop stressing over it. It's not going to help the situation. When my son was 3 1/2, I took away the diapers and gave him undies and pull-ups. I told him he could choose which to wear, and he was in charge of changing himself. After a few days in pull-ups, he discovered undies were easier and faster. He knew how to use the potty, but the diapers were easier for him.

Maybe time to buy big boy underpants and ditch the diapers except if he needs them at night. My DD doesn't like peeing on herself. Lots of laundry, but the timer didn't work for us.

with my son's I did not use the small seat much even on the big toilet. I would but them on the seat backwords. They did really well with that. Then later tought them to stand up and pee.

Good luck and God Bless!

My 3 yr old daughter wasn't too interested in going on the potty until I bought one of the integrated potty seats. It is a regular toilet seat but has an attached smaller seat that comes down. Now she uses it all the time since it's like mommy's and daddy's.

Prior to that, I had a potty seat that goes ontop of the regular seat but she didn't care for it.

Send him to daycare/preschool and the peer pressure, along with the teachers' dedication, will help.

I think what you're missing is telling him it's time to go potty, setting a timer and taking him and not turning back. No pull ups but big boy underwear.

You need to tell him he is too big for diapers. He is too big for the small seat now. They work with 2 year olds. Time for daddy to teach him to stand up and pee like a man.
